Welcome to the lake! Spend a week (or three) in a lovely 4-bedroom "camp" on pristine Highland Lake in Bridgton, Maine. Travel down a tree-lined dirt road to a private driveway that leads to the house, with a side porch and large deck, overlooking the lake. Or, launch your boat at the town boat landing, conveniently located at the public beach on Highland Lake, and motor down the lake to your own private dock. This is a perfect setting for sunrises and sunsets while swimming, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, or fishing. The kitchen-dining-livingroom space faces the large deck that overlooks the lake. A large family room with couch, chair, large-screen television (vintage), and piano (also vintage) complete the downstairs spaces. The four private bedrooms, located on the second floor: three with queen-size beds, one with two single beds, comfortably sleep 8. Two full baths complete the "camp": one downstairs with shower and one upstairs with shower stall and Jacuzzi. A full laundry is located on the second floor

Bridgton is centrally located in the Lakes Region of Maine. 3 hours from Boston, 1 hour from Portland, and only 45 minutes from North Conway, New Hampshire. Several local restaurants offer a variety of dining experiences. Activities are four seasonal and include: in the summer/ canoeing, boating, kayaking, fishing, golf, tennis, biking, hiking, shopping, and in the winter/snowshoeing, sledding, skiiing (downhill and cross-country), ice skating, shopping. Reny's, a local Maine institution is open year-around for your shopping experience and antique stores abound. For those (few) rainy days, the Magic Lantern, the local movie theater, is a year-around experience for first run movies, while the seasonal Bridgton Drive-In gives you an old-time summer experience
