Approximately 360 m² Castle, consisting of 2 lounges, 4-5 rooms and 4 rooms with attached bathrooms. The castle is part of the extensive historic property, known as "Villa Silvio Pellico". The Villa dates back to 1780 and is, like the Castle, in a landscaped park, partly redesigned by famous English landscape gardener Russell Page circa 1958. The castle is located next to the Villa and it was built in 1830 in neo-Gothic style. The complex was long the home of the Marchesa di Barolo. The Castle has been recently renovated and furnished with antique furniture and paintings of the family of the current owners. It is available for rent at least weekly, has independent access, private courtyard with fountain and private parking. In addition to the two living rooms (one with working fireplace), has 8 beds in 4-5 rooms equipped with all comforts and a connecting bathroom. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The castle is wired for the internet. Moncalieri is an old and charming town on the outskirts of Turin, just a mile from the Castle, while the Turin Centre is 7 km away. All kinds of shops and supermarkets are located in Moncalieri at 1 Km away. The Castle boasts a view over the Po Valley in the direction of Monferrato, Langhe, famous for its excellent wine, white truffles and good food. This is the season of truffles, a trained dog search them in our garden and often finds them, white and black!!!!!
