Digby Lodge is a family compound located on Lower Hadlock Pond in Northeast Harbor. Also known as the 'Pink House, ' the compound was built in 1895 and painted pink in 1937. There are two main houses connected by a boardwalk, a studio apartment, and a small boathouse. All have porches with views of the pond
Nestled within Acadia National park, you have direct access to Park trails and Norumbega mountain is directly across the pond
The trail around the pond is a leisurely thirty minute walk. The houses face west and the sunsets are lovely
The buildings are referred to as the Lower House, the Upper House and the Studio
The Lower house has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. It has the formal dining room
The Upper House has four bedrooms and two baths. The Studio has one bedroom and one bath
There are two canoes and a sunfish sailboat for use. All occupants are required to have a Personal Flotation Device (pfd). Life jackets and paddles are in the boathouse
Digby Lodge is the only property on Lower Hadlock Pond
