Nestled within Acadia National Park, you have direct access to Park trails, and Norumbega Mountain is directly across the pond. The trail around the pond is a leisurely thirty minute walk. The house faces west, and the sunsets are lovely

Built in 1895, it has a formal dining room and three working fireplaces. The kitchen has a six burner dual fuel convection range. The dishwasher is in the pantry. There are two full baths upstairs; one with a wood rail antique copper tub, and the other with a modern steam shower. The basement contains two washers dryer sets presently set to wash colors and whites separately

Amenities include two Samsung flat screen TVs with DirecTV DVR HD receivers and DVD players. The living room also has Apple TV. There is high speed WiFi Internet and a WiFi printer provided. There are canoes available. All occupants are required to have a personal flotation device (pfd) i. E. A life jacket. Paddles and lifejackets can be found in the boathouse in the closet and drawers

Digby Lodge is the only property on Lower Hadlock Pond. You have no neighbors, and the topography makes it particularly quiet. It is very peaceful
