Our four bedroom house with garden and on street parking is set in a quiet side street of Canterbury less than two minutes walk from the Marlowe theatre and the bustling city centre with it's tourist attractions, shops, and restaurants. Both the University of Kent and Christchurch University are 20 - 30 minutes walk away
The ground floor living room is semi-open plan to the kitchen, and has a sofa, dining table and chairs. There is a TV (plus DVD) with internet access giving you a large range of television channels. A selection of dvds and traditional board games are also provided for your entertainment. Fibre optic wifi is free to for you to use
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster, washing machine, electric hob and single oven. Leading off from the kitchen is the shower room with basin, shower and toilet
The first floor of the house consists of the main bedroom with a 4' 6" double bed and two small single bedrooms both with 3' beds. On the ground floor, there is a further single bedroom with 3' bed. All bedrooms have either curtains or blinds with blackout linings; a wardrobe, desk or dressing table, and a chest of drawers
Outside there is a small, attractive enclosed private pebbled courtyard garden with a picnic bench, rotary drier and locking points for bicycles
There is limited parking on the road and a parking permit for one vehicle is included in the cost of your stay
The house is ideally placed for a holiday in Canterbury. The Cathedral, shopping centre, Marlowe theatre, river tours, Greyfriars gardens, and Westgate Gardens are all only a few minutes walk away
Whilst here you can also visit the neighbouring seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay, all easily accessible by car or by public transport. The house is a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station and Canterbury West and East train stations. There is a National Express coach service from London to the bus station and there are good rail links to London and the coast
The house has steep stairs which are not suitable for very small children or the less able
