Our home is made for families, in walking distance to all the Quechee Clubs activities and amenities, and next door to Woodstock, the prettiest town in New England
In Winter, Ski on the Quechee ski hill (you'll want to take the horse-drawn carriage from the lodge!). The hill has 13 trails and a Quad lift, an active ski school with guest privileges for kids, snowboarding. Or, Nordic ski across the golf course or more challenging Section 5. You can also use our place as a home base for nearby Okemo, Killington, or Suicide Six. After skiing, relax in our in-unit cedar sauna, or by the 2 fireplaces, or warm your hands at our patio firepit. Families also love the man-made sledding hill, as well as ice-skating pond, where you can skate under the lights!
In the summer, enjoy Lake Pinneo, a stunning private lake and beach for Quechee Club residents and guests, with kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats, and fishing. Swim in the new Aquatics Complex, with zero-depth entry for little ones and olympic lanes for adults, as well as lap pool indoors. Or swim in your private Coach Road pool, next to your private tennis court. Golf on one of two Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf courses, with panoramic views of the Ottauquechee River. Get a workout at the on-site gym, or take it outside, on a hike up Mt. Tom, Ascutney or Cardigan. If you still have energy, there are additional hardcourts for tennis, pickle ball, and racquet ball
Autumn in Quechee is spectacular. Pick apples overlooking the ski hill, visit Billings Farm, or drive to nearby Hanover, NH and catch a Dartmouth Big Green football game. Watch glass-blowing at Simon Pearce, visit the quaint shops in downtown Woodstock, and later, dine on the Quechee Club property (Davidson's, or more casual Murphy's Farm Pub) or head to nearby Worthy Kitchen, Simon Pearce or Parker House Inn. Or book a ride on one of Quechee's famous hot-air balloons
