Natalie’s House sits on a hill overlooking Port Clyde Harbor. This view, by many accounts, is unrivaled in this classic fishing village – watch lobster boats unload their catch at the end of the day, sailboats glide in and out of the harbor, kayakers paddle along the shore… Named after the beloved artist, Nat Lewis, who spent years there painting what she saw out her window and off her deck, this lovely house had been completely renovated. The house has three bedrooms and 1. 5 baths – it can sleep a total of 9 people in four queen beds and one twin. There are two bedrooms upstairs (one open area with two queens) and a private bedroom with a twin and a queen. All the bedrooms upstairs have lovely views and share a half bath. The first floor bedroom with a queen bed, is at the back of the house, set off slightly from the hustle and bustle of the main living area. This bedroom shares a full bath with the rest of the house, located in the hallway. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has all new appliances – there is an electric stove and the table will be large enough to seat 9 people. There are two living room areas at the front of the house – each with gorgeous views. One has a large, gorgeous fireplace and comfortable seating – best suited for reading or visiting. The other, which has a large flat screen TV, is more of a den. The house is equipped with WIFI and cable television. This sweet house is perfectly situated in the village – enough out of the way for a little peace and quiet, guests can walk to Marshall Point Lighthouse or Drift Inn Beach (one of the only sandy beaches on the Peninsula) or down to the village for dinner, drinks, ice cream or to shop for provisions at the General Store. The ferry to Monhegan is just down the hill – don’t miss the opportunity to visit this magical island. Dogs may be CONSIDERED with pet fee and acceptance of pet policy. We will need to know size, breed and age of the dog.
