THE PROPERTY Bedroom: King Bed | Living Room: Twin Daybed, Twin Pullout Bed Upon arrival, park your car in the home's gated parking area and walk right up to the turquoise front door. Step inside the Southwest-themed home and you will instantly feel connected to the local culture. The living area has lower ceilings than the rest of the house, providing a cozy ambiance. The space features 3 armchairs, a comfortable twin daybed, flat-screen cable TV, adobe accents, and beautiful natural light pouring in from the skylights. Adjacent to the living area is a charming dining table with seating for 4. Follow the tile flooring into the fully equipped kitchen with unique blue countertops to prepare delicious meals for the whole group. The spacious bedroom features turquoise accent walls, a king-sized Sleep Number bed, and a vanity. For fresh air, step outside of the home, where there is plenty of seating options. Lounge on the front patio featuring a table and chairs and a backyard area with a swing sofa, umbrella, table and chairs, and an antique bench. THE LOCATION This casita is located right in the heart of the historic downtown district of Albuquerque, making it easy for you to explore the best of this unique city. Take a drive down historic Route 66 to Nob Hill, a trendy district with unique shops, exceptional restaurants, and neon signs that will transport you back in time. Head west direction for a trip to Old Town, the first neighborhood established in Albuquerque in 1706. The area features 5 museums and more than 100 restaurants, shops, and galleries. If you're lucky enough to be visiting in October, be sure to visit the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, where over 500 hot air balloons will fill the New Mexico sky. Also near the home is the zoo, which is one of the best in the Southwest! The Botanical and Salt Water Aquarium is also within a 5-minute drive and ensures a good time for all! If you're planning to cook at home, you'll find it easy to get all the ingredients you need, as the neighborhood grocery store is just 2 blocks away.
