Absolutely lovely mid-century modern designed apartment with private entrance and backyard with a fire pit in the heart of Irving, Texas. Our prime location is conveniently located less than 10 miles from DFW & Love Field airports, and less than 15 miles from AT&T stadium, Six Flags & Hurricane Harbor. Located near major highways with public transportation a block from your door you are free to explore all of the exciting offerings of the DFW metroplex or simply relax in by the fire. Our space is a mid-century modern lover's dream. Most of the furnishings are antiques that have been found to match the look and feel of the property. Guests are free to use everything in the apartment. We hope that you love the space as much as we do and appreciate the combination of form and function that we strove to create for our guests! The apartment has the following amenities: -Sheets & towels -Shampoo, conditioner, soap, moisturizer, hairdryer, toilet paper, etc. -Television with netflix, hulu, youtube, etc (NO CABLE) -Wifi -Heat/air conditioning -2 burner cooktop, convection oven (fits up to 9x13 pan), refrigerator/freezer, dishes, utensils, mixer, blender, coffee maker, slow cooker, waffle maker, tea kettle, coffee, tea & cocoa -Private entrance with lockbox -Private yard with fire pit (wood available for nominal fee) -Use of washer dryer (ONLY AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING OF TWO WEEKS OR LONGER) -Off street parking -Secretary desk for work ***Please note that the custom cut bathroom door was cut incorrectly and currently has a gap of approximately 1-1/2 inches between door and frame. The replacement door has been ordered and is expected to be installed in the next two to four weeks. Guests have full access to the apartment and the private yard through which they enter. The yard has a fire pit and outdoor seating. Please note that dogs do live in the main house but do not go in the apartment at any time during or between stays and the apartment is completely contained from the main house. In addition, the dogs will never be in the private guest yard during your stay. We ask that guests be sure to extinguish all fires outside and/or candles inside before leaving the applicable space. While I like to provide my guests total privacy during their stay I am always available via phone, text or messaging. If you are looking for a more interactive stay please do not hesitate to reach out to me and let me know. My husband is a social butterfly and we would be happy to host a dinner, barbecue or cocktail hour for our guests if we are available. Please, no indoor smoking. You are free to smoke in the yard but we ask that you extinguish all smoking materials and properly dispose of the waste. There is absolutely NOTHING that is to be flushed down the commode other that waste and toilet paper. The system is not designed to handle feminine products, diaper, wipes, paper towels, etc. Pets are not permitted in the apartment at any time. Bus service is available a block from the apartment and the train is approximately 3 miles from the house (easily accessed by bus). Uber and Lyft are always in the area and generally 5 minutes from pickup. - All outdoor fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished when not in use -There is absolutely NOTHING that is to be flushed down the commode other that waste and toilet paper. -Coasters provided must be used at all times with all beverages. The furniture pieces are carefully selected vintage pieces that cannot be replaced if they are damaged. -Smoking only permitted outdoors only. -Absolutely NO pets permitted -No parties permitted - This seems obvious to most but after a very unsavory guest experience I am forced to add the following. I expect all guests to return the apartment in the condition in which they found it. Guests must immediately notify me of any condition above normal use which includes, but is not limited to: vomiting or other accidents outside of the toilet that the guest was unable to fully remedy through the use of the cleaning supplies in the apartment, clogged plumbing, stained or damaged sheets, towels, pillows, plates, glasses, tables, or anything else in the apartment. I understand that accidents do happen and I try to work with my guests to resolve accidents amicably. I DO NOT attempt to profit on accidents but I may ask that guests pay the actual charges to restore the apartment to the original condition, depending on the circumstances
