Lovely Town-home is historic Fishing Village

Our home is located in "The Sands of Carrabelle" an upscale town-home community, just a few blocks from the historic village. We are just north of Scenic Hwy 98, which runs up and down the coastline of Florida. Carrabelle is a true historic fishing village, that is located right on the Gulf of Mexico in the eastern Florida Panhandle. Its people have been harvesting from the sea for more than 100 years. Shrimping, oystering, commercial and recreational game fishing together with lumber, turpentine, flour mills, the railroad and tourism have been the economic mainstays of the area for many years. While our home is not right on the water, we are just a few minutes to Carrabelle Beach on the bay, and about 25 minutes to St. George Island. If you want to bring your boat we have ample parking right below the unit and public boat ramps and marinas are just around the corner in downtown Carrabelle. We have clearance up to 11' and can accommodate 4+ cars with ease. Our home is an end unit that allows for more privacy. The pool is in view and is a very short stroll where there is a gazebo, picnic tables, lounge chairs and restrooms. As for the town-home we have three bedrooms with one king in the master suite, and queens in the second and third bedrooms. All beds have extra linens and plenty of bath towels. There are also pool towels supplied. We have a well stocked kitchen with plenty of accessories for the chef of the house. Please note there are stairs in the units, we do not have a lift. There are two 42 inch TV's with one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Two other smaller TV's are in the second and third rooms. There are two decks, one on the front of the house and one in the back of the unit overlooking the pool. We have cable, WIFI and extra Bluetooth speakers. There is plenty to do and see on the forgotten coast of Florida. As Mr. Buffet so eloquently says: La ora te natura E mea arofa teie ao nei Ua pau te maitai no te fenua Re zai noa ra te ora o te mitie The translation given is: "Nature lives (life to nature) Have pity for the Earth (Love the Earth)" "Bounty of the land is exhausted But there's still abundance on the sea. " Please come and enjoy our home like we do if even for a few days, a few weeks or even a few months!
