Well kept grounds surround the estate and beyond are vineyards and olive groves from which the owners produce excellent wine and oil which is available for tasting and purchase. The little village of Marcialla with its local shops is a handy walking distance of just over 1 km away. The apartments themselves have been recently restored paying great attention to detail. All of the original characteristics such as beamed ceilings, and exposed stone walls have been retained and only the finest local materials have been used. The estate is in a fantastic position immersed in stunning Chianti countryside, between the famous towns of Florence and Siena both of which easily accessible via nearby road and bus links. Many more of Tuscany's treasures including the medieval town of San Gimignano are within easy driving distance, and the area is well known for its country walks and excellent local restaurants. The estate is proud to be totally ecological and environmentally friendly using only solar and naturally produced 'clean' energy so as to protect the beautiful countryside and aid in the prevention of pollution.
