Ishara’s is a really nice place to chill out after a hike to Ella Rock or Little Adam’s Peak. Price is for a double room with attached bathroom and there's also a triple room available. The Space Ishara’s home was built in 2012 especially to host guests. There are two nice, clean and spacious rooms (one double bedroom and one triple room) with big windows and attached bathrooms including hot water. There’s a small terrace overlooking Ella Rock, from where you can see hikers on the rail road, heading towards Ella Rock. Surrounded by a small tea estate this is really nice place to chill out after a hike. Interaction with Guests Ishara is a 20 year-old, friendly lad who finished high school last year. Ishara lives with his mother and younger brother in his family home close to the guest home. Managing guests is their main source of income. Ishara knows Ella’s attractions well and can guide guests to Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak, et cetera. His mom helps with preparing meals, especially local dishes such as 'milk rice' and can also do cooking classes for guests. Furthermore, Ishara can help guests with things like, arranging tours and transport. The Neighborhood When you hear Sri Lankans speak about Ella, it sounds as if they’re talking about some icy alpine base camp high up in the clouds. “It’s freezing there”, they say. “Bring warm clothes”, they say. But don’t worry: although this might be one of the few places in the country where a sweater might be needed, Ella is a very nice place to cool off after a week on Sri Lanka’s beaches Ishara’s has a good view of Ella Rock from its balcony. It’s just a 500 metre walk from Ella railway station, about a kilometre from Ella town, about 2. 5 kilometres to Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge and around 5 kilometres to Ella Rock
