Welcome to the Glen Onoko Guesthouse! The beauty of this region has beckoned travelers for almost two centuries, and was second only to Niagara Falls! Close to activities and attractions, this spacious three bedroom townhouse is full of old-world charm on two floors of living space. Detail abound such as the original storefront, polished wood pillars, hardwood floors. You'll also find a modern kitchen with ceramic sink, stainless steel appliances, and a spacious living room -- perfect for a gathering of family and friends. The Space The building was once home to the town's ice cream soda shop. Known as the former Mrs. Annie Martz Building ( built ca. 1874), the space has retained its unique character and charm with the original storefront and display windows still intact. You may feel like you stepped back in time amongst the original features of this home: cast iron radiators and the original 19th century wooden staircase. The townhouse also includes a fully stocked kitchen, dishware, and cooking supplies as well as coffee, spices, sugar and tea. We supply all bed linens and bath towels and basic toiletries. The half bath is on the 2nd floor; the full bathroom is on the 3rd floor. For your entertainment needs, we've also provided you with a vintage AM/FM radio and a board games in the living room. Guest Access Guests have exclusive access to the two floors of the townhouse -- where the shopkeepers lived. You may also access the quiet, secluded courtyard and use of the BBQ grill. The entrance is at the back of the building and on-site parking that makes unpacking easy. The first floor is a laundry room that leads to the upper two levels of the townhouse. Keyless entry will allow you to access the inside of the building; then a key is provided to the apartment door. This location is close to the Lehigh Gorge State Park with the Glen Onoko Falls Trail! You will enjoy the close proximity to the gorge and the quick drive to town with the amenities of the downtown historic district as well as the conveniences of the east side of the borough such as the grocery store, wine and spirit shop, restaurants, massage and a full service salon and spa
