The generous lot looks over a pond in the front. There is wide open space on three sides of the house. We are located 1. 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. We often ride our bikes to the beach. The beach can be accessed in the town of Bethany or at at the state park at the inlet. In addition, there is a new 300 acre nature preserve across the street from the Salt Pond Development. It is fabulous for elongated hikes, biking, bird watching and paddle boarding, Come back from the hustle and bustle of the beach to the quiet of Salt Pond. The pool is Olympic sized, with a fabulous kiddie pool, and many tennis courts, Walking to the club house, indoor and outdoor pools, exercise room, tennis courts, locker rooms and Pro Shop takes about 5 minutes. There is plenty of room to safely walk, ride bikes, and roller skate in the Salt Pond. The Salt Pond Development contains 19 lovely ponds. The tenth tee and a pond are located directly across the street. The Salt Pond is a three hundred acre salt water pond which borders the Salt Pond Development. The development contains a private beach area to launch your small sail boat or kayak. The Salt Pond accesses canals behind Bethany and on to the bay. Small boats at low tide can access the town of Bethany itself. Forget the roads, take your kayak to the beach. Leave the town of Bethany after your beach day and come home to peace and tranquility in the Salt Pond. A family dog is welcome if this has been OK'd by the owner and a $200 dog fee is satisfied
