Description

Tired of sitting in the I-70 traffic? Spend some time in Leadville and take advantage of all that a true mountain town has to offer. This cute Victorian house is a short five minute walk to Downtown and all of its shops, restaurants, and galleries. From here, it's only 15 minutes to Ski Cooper, our local, family-centered ski hill. If you're looking for more terrain, Copper Mountain Resort is 25 minutes away. Head South for 35 minutes and you can end your day at the hot springs in Buena Vista. During the summer, Leadville is an adventure lover's dream. Miles of single track can be reached from the front door for both biking and running. Mts. Elbert, Massive, and Sherman surround the town, allowing folks to bag three 14ers in no time. The Arkansas River provides some of the best fly fishing in the area. You can also drop your lines at Turquoise Lake or Twin Lakes, both within minutes of the house. There are miles of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails surrounding Leadville. If you're coming for any of the Leadville Race Series, the house Is 7 blocks from the start/finish lines for all of the big races (the 100s and the 50s). You can also take a leisurely spin around the Mineral Belt Trail, by bike or ski, which can be picked up at the end of the street. There is also plenty of history, as seen in the National Mining Museum and Hall of Fame. You might just be surprised at all there is to do in our small town
