Uninterrupted views of the sea, elegant period features with modern facilities and fittings in this interior designed, bright and comfortable apartment, provide a calm haven for total relaxation and romance. There is a fully equipped ultra modern kitchen with a luxury Nespresso Coffee machine for the perfect wake up coffee, ample storage for clothes and suitcases, and of course a very stylish bathroom
This being officially the sunniest spot in the UK, hopefully you get lots of sun to enjoy the beautiful surroundings outside, beeing just cross the street from the promenade & the beach
For the occasional rainy day, there is also a FreeSat TV and DVD player, lots of books, magazines, some DVD's and an I-Pod/I-Phone docking station with radio for indoor entertainment

St. Leonards-on-Sea was the first custom built seaside resort during mid 19C Regency times for the upper class people from London. Its many exquisite surviving squares, gardens, buildings and facades, especially in Burton St. Leonards bear testimony to the grandeur of these times, and where the great architects James and Decimus Burton left their mark. Today it is inviting with its quirky little shops, cafes and restaurants and is home to many galleries
This is in stark contrast to the modern town center of Hastings with its pedestrian zones and the large Priory Meadow shopping center, the buzzing seafront, and the many historic and listed buildings in the Old Town of Hastings, a medieval town formerly home to a community of mostly of farmers and fishermen, where the last remaining beached commercial fishing fleet in Europe squats on the shingle among the famous Rock A Nor net huts
Hastings and St. Leonard's have so many artists, writers and musicians per square yard that you cannot help running into art galleries, live music and commemorative blue plaques of historic resident authors wherever you look, and now of course the recently opened Jerwood Gallery in Hastings' old harbour

There are also many festivals here, one every month from July to December. In May the spring festival is also the official opening of the UK motorbike season and every biker seems to gather here on the first Monday in May. September is great with the Coastal Currents Arts Festival in Hastings and St Leonards and a great one in Rye, and the famous Hastings Seafood and Wine festival
October is the month to re-experience all the aspects of the 1066 Battle of Hastings
Highlights of the year:
MAY - JACK in the GREEN pagan spring festival
JULY - Pirates Day
SEPTEMBER - Hastings Seafood Festival
