Church in the North

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 1 bathroom

Finished in 1927, this timber structure was built for evangelical meetings between the wars. A brand new bathroom has been added with inside toilet! The floors have been stripped back and it's been returned to its original all-wooden flooring. There are wood burners and stoves, with a shed full of wood. But there are all mod cons to boot: twin air-to-air heat pumps, washing machine and drying cupboard for the ski season, underfloor heating in the bathroom, dishwasher and electric oven. The hall is massive at 100 square metres with a 4. 5 metre high ceiling. It can accommodate parties, events, even a wedding. It's a great space for fireside lounging or more sprightly après-ski. In summer there's a campfire and stacks of wood. There's even a double outside toilet. With views over the lake just a few hundred metres away and at the foot of the mountain where skiing beckons, it's superbly located for activities all year round
