Description

Admirals Rest is a vintage boutique holiday cottage in Deal on the pretty east Kent coast. The cottage sleeps 4 plus a cot comfortably in two bedrooms (one king double and one twin that can be converted to a king double) and in summary there is a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, dining room, large family bathroom and a courtyard garden with bbq. The beach is a short stroll away (a few minutes at the most). The cottage is decorated and furnished in coastal colours and is full of finds from the local vintage home furnishing shops. The cottage is located on a quiet street in the pretty Conservation Area of Deal - a mix of Georgian and Victorian fisherman cottages dating back to Deal's 18th Century smuggling days. Our award winnning High Street with its mix of independent shops, coffee shops, restaurants, pop up gallery and local market is just around the corner. Admirals Rest is perfect for couples, small groups and families. We have heaps of family friendly features including a travel cot, high chair, safety sockets, plastic plates and cutlery, an upcycled colouring table with low seating, toys, games, books, DVDs and even a microscooter to borrow. For those new to Deal, Deal is an unspoilt Georgian seaside town with character and quirkiness. There is a 1950s pier, two English Heritage castles built by Henry VIII, a pebble shoreline, fantastic opportunities for golf, fishing, walking and cycling, beautiful countryside, gardens and even a National Trust lighthouse a short drive away. The historic cathedral city of Canterbury, a UNESCO Heritage Site is a 30 minute drive away
