  • 4 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms

Enjoy a Cascade mountain vacation at the Hansel Cabin! Situated in a convenient and quaint Government Camp neighborhood, this Mount Hood vacation rental has all the bells and whistles you want, like a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of room to snuggle up in, and even a washer and dryer. Dogs are invited, too! Walk to eateries and shops within Govy Village just a few minutes from your cabin door. Make plans for a big dinner out with the family at the popular German-themed Glacier Haus Bistro after an activity-filled day cross-country skiing or hiking along the nearby Glade Trail all the way to Timberline Lodge, where you'll find even more to do all year long. Mountain bike or ski at Mount Hood Meadows for snow sports as well. A cute and cozy Alpine/Bavarian storybook feel is evident among the cabin's decor, without lacking sophistication and function. Sink into the burgundy velvet couches while the logs in the fireplace pop and crackle. In summer, fire up the charcoal barbecue and chow down at the picnic-style table in the dining area. The kitchen has all you need for an indoor meal as well and is cleverly decorated with a cool metal backsplash to add to the atmosphere. Sleep well in the one of the four bedrooms. The master is found conveniently on the main floor while three more bedrooms are accessed up the ladder staircase: in one you'll have a queen and a small child-size bed, in another are two twins as well as a TV with DVD. The fourth room also has two twins. Eight guests, with a maximum of nine, will be accommodated here. Bringing your dogs along? Please note that there is an additional pet fee. WiFi, baby gates, and a washer and dryer are also included. If you need a little more room, find seven more sleeping spots in the next-door Gretel Cabin. Ask for details. In the area, you'll find tons of scenic hikes and day trips. About 15 miles west are the mountain towns of Rhododendron and Welches plus Little Zigzag Falls. If you have more time, see the Bridge of the Gods to the northwest in Cascade Locks while swinging by a winery or two. This Government Camp vacation rental is an adorable cabin with lots of space for you and your loved ones to cuddle up in during those magical Mt. Hood winters or Cascade amazing summers
