Cheap&Cosy Flat For Rent In Zagreb
Well, my cosy flat is on the slopes of Medvednica, overlooking the mountain and the city of Zagreb. To be honest, it's not in the heart of city but it takes only 25min to reach It. The area is one of the best and nicest in town. It's close to the city but far enough from the city crowd. It is really peaceful and calm neighbourhood. Not much traffic, so that's why you can easily reach city center. Only, let's say, "bad" thing is that buses run till 00:00, but on the Tram last stop you can find taxi stand that will take you to the flat in couple of minutes for 3€ or you can take a walk, it's 1km from the Tram station and neighbourhood is nice.
To go to the Center of Zagreb by public transport: Bus stop (No: 127, runs every 20min) is 150m from the flat and takes three stops to reach Tram No.11 or No.6 (in 5 minutes, Station: ČRNOMEREC), that will take you to the main square (Jelacic sq.) in 15minutes.
The Ticket for one ride costs 15 kn if you buy it in the bus and 12 kn if you buy it at the Kiosk. If you are in the centre and want to take public transportation back you have to take Tram No.6 or No.11 (direction Črnomerec).
to/from the airport is aprox. 20€,
to/from the main bust station 10€,
from/to main train station 6-7€
from/to city centre (Ban Jelacic sq) 7-8€.
from/to last tram station 3€.
It is a two storey flat on a last (third) floor of a small building. The first floor is one unique open space made of living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with the bath and the balcony. On the second floor wooden steps leed to the attic with 2 beds (mattresses).
Apartament is not fancy, chick, chic, post-ultra modern...whatever but It's just a normal, nice and cosy flat with a lots of light and is very welcoming! :)
Flat can accomodate 2 ppl in the room but if you are a group looking to stay for one or two nights we can arrange something since there is a sofa bed in the dining room. (each extra person pays 10€ per night).
100m from the apartament is a pharmacy and a grocery store. Down the street, on the last tram stop you will find a lots of bars, bakery (0-24h) as well as a huge grocery store "Super Konzum" (mon - sat 0-24h, Sun 8-24h)
