: From the initial contact to the arrival date it was a pleasure to deal with Geoff and Karla. Nothing was a hassle and they replied promptly to any questions and needs we had. Having drive up from Melbourne we were not sure of our arrival time, but this was no issue for them as they worked with us to meet our needs. We were greeted by Geoff at the apartment and shown around,and had stocked the fridge and pantry with some basic essentials to get us started, including a bottle of wine and Tim Tams. Geoff and Karla have thought out well the setup of this apartment, not only from the location, but the way it has been set up with all the necessities and conveniences one would need on a holiday. Ipod docks in every room, remote lighting in all the rooms, foxtel and WiFi internet. Very comfy beds with all linen supplied and a heap of fresh towels to easily accommodate our party of six and a baby. There was even a port-a-cot and high chair available for us to use. Public transport is very handy to this location with bus, train and ferry options available within a 5 min walk, as well as 2 supermarkets. Plenty of food places locally and with a 5-10 min drive also available. parking can be a little difficult in the area but if you get an all day parking you really don't need a car to get around, public transport is a lot easier. Geoff and Karla, thank you for offering such a lovely home for people to enjoy, and we will definitely be back when we next venture up to Sydney.
This apartment provided everything that was in the description. It is superbly located, very well equipted, spacious, very comfortable beds and the owners made us very welcome, with that extra personal touch. Everything is within easy walking distance, trains, ferry, buses, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Apart from the obvious attractions in Sydney itself, a ferry trip to Watson's Bay, a drink and excellent food in the Royal Oak down the road and shopping in the superb range of shops in Double Bay, are all "must do's." This was our 9th visit to Sydney, from Nottingham in the UK.
We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would certainly book this again in the future.
Geoff and Karla were more than accommodating to our booking requests. Karla welcomed us at the door to provide the 'grand tour' having already stocked the pantry and fridge with a few essentials and additional tasty treats to get us through the weekend. The Tim-Tams were a great surprise for the Aussie ex-pats visiting from London.
Sheltered in the leafy and serene suburb of Double Bay, we were very close to public transport (Edgecliff Station), shops and parks and the ever present water. The apartment was stylish, comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate 3 young couples; giving us the space to relax and recuperate after days out exploring and experiencing everything Sydney had to offer. Definitely worth considering over your next hotel booking.

Our family of 6 just returned from a wonderful holiday in Sydney. We had the pleasure and privilege of staying at this lovingly maintained "home away from home" for a week.
The Owners, Geoff & Karla, were fantastic to deal with. They are responsive and completely reliable. We've stayed at quite a number of wonderful holiday homes (most recently in New Zealand) and would rate them and their home amongst the very best in terms of Owner attention to detail, location, comfort, value, amenities and cleanliness. The cleaning fee and security deposit are on the higher side but we can fully understand why it is needed (since the Owner's maintain their apartment so well).
The apartment is very clean throughout and is exactly as presented in the online photos. The beds are comfy and the apartment is well-stocked with excellent quality equipment and furnishings. We very much appreciated the little surprises of finding an iPod dock (on the clocks) in every bedroom (so useful for charging our phones), as well as a selection of teas, coffee and even a complimentary bottle of wine in the kitchen.
Location was great. We had easy access to the ferry, buses and train, all of which was within an easy walk). We took the ferry to Circular Quay (and saw seals swimming up close along the way) ; the bus to Watson's Bay (we'd recommend this as it was a beautiful ride that gave us a chance to see some really gorgeous houses and views along the way) ; and the train to places like Bondi Junction, Circular Quay and Central station where Chinatown is. We didn't rent a car on this trip and with these transport options it turned out to be fine even for the youngest (5 years) and oldest (80 years) in our group.
We would highly recommend this place and would definitely choose to stay there again if we have the chance to visit Sydney again.

My family and I spend 3 days at this apartment. We all found it very comfortable and inviting. It was close to public transport and shops. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this apartment if they wish to. Very good service by the owners.
