Twisk is better known as "the Pearl of West Frisia". You can enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere for which the village is famous, or just walk or cycle, for example, through the waterfowl area just outside of the village.
For a bit more action, you can visit Hoorn, Enkhuizen or Medemblik, lovely towns with a port, lovely shops and a famous East India Company past, the remnants of which are worth the effort of visiting.
West Frisia is a region where you can make wonderful excursions of discovery both by bicycle and by car. Many small villages with characteristic village centres, beautiful country views and all the space you need to really exhale and relax.

You can see the Hindeloopen's unique character in the old town's centre, wandering along narrow streets, wooden bridges, characteristic gables and sweeping vistas.
On the old harbour there are various restaurants and cafes where you have a lovely view of the boats coming and going.
You can relax and enjoy the lovely view of the Ijsselmeer on the Ijsselmeer dike. There are beaches along the sea dike, where you can sunbathe, swim, surf and fish in peace during the summer.
In the direct vicinity of Hindeloopen you can undertake beautiful hikes, and sail and cycle. You can also visit the nearby Frisian Eleven Cities towns such as Stavoren and Workum.
The 17 luxury villas are situated in a separate area of the holiday park and are built in traditional Wieringer style. Youll be one of the first to use these villas, as they were completed in 2008. They are very comfortable and have modern interiors with all necessary appliances. The lay-out and furnishing can differ, the photos shown are an indication only. All villas have a garden with a terrace.
