Romantic Ocean & Boston Skyline Views
Perched high on the hill, this fabulous home boasts ocean views from every window. Fully renovated custom chef's kitchen, brand new 1.5 baths (one with Jacuzzi), a large bedroom. Cathedral ceilings, skylights, fireplace, hardwood floors, wrap arou …
For anyone interested in a rental anywhere near the Boston area, stop no further this place is for you! My husband and I had a fantastic time at this home. Ivan was very prompt to respond to any questions/concers that we had. The view from the master bedroom is fantastic. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops in Swampscott. We spent a majority of time in Salem and it was a very short drive from this home. I would highly reccomend this home to anyone and we will book here if we are in the area again.
I can honestly say this condo far exceeded the high expectations I had. It was a truly wonderful relaxing stay. The view is awesome! The neighborhood charming and it felt as if we were in our own private hideaway. We had a fire in fireplace every night (wood and fire starter provided by Ivan - just another of the great things provided), candles on the mantle, hot tub outside on the deck. You could not ask for anything more. True Bliss. Thank you Ivan.
We had the pleasure of staying here during the first week of October 2013. The home is just lovely, even better than the pictures. I especially loved the beautiful live plants, the aquarium, and the milk, juice, fruit and muffins Ivan left for us. He even called the first night to be sure we were in and happy! It was all so very cozy and welcoming. The view is amazing, and the hot tub was such a pleasure after a busy day visiting the family. We look forward to staying again!
We spent wonderful days in Ivan´s house.Iit was even better than the pictures suggested. Waking up with the sound of the ocean and the phantatstic outlook is unbeatable. Everything was perfectly organized from our arrival until our departure.
Beautiful place with breathtaking views; more than we expected. We will definitely stay here again! You will consider yourself lucky to be staying here.
We loved staying at this property. It has beautiful views of Boston skyline and ocean.
Great location. Property is beautifully maintained. The kitchen was a cooks delight had everything you needed to make great meals. We especially enjoyed our breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean.
I'm hoping to return next year.
The views were breath-taking, but every other detail helped you to catch your breath. Clean, Great Kitchen, Loved the Glass counter top teapot from which I made a pot of Hibiscus Tea. Tried a new recipe for [flat bread pizza, rubbed with goat ch.,caramelized onions, asparagus, walnuts then drizzled with honey just before serving] Sitting at the kitchen nook under the sweet blue glow of the pendant lighting catching up with an old friend. Once the pizza came out of the oven it was so nice to leave the warm kitchen and go to sit out on the amazing wrap around deck over looking the ocean. Just in time for a beautiful sunset. The host has thought of everything! Right down to a folded umbrella by the door, which came in handy for packing the car in the pouring rain. You have the feeling that the preparation for your stay was carried out with great care. The layout is perfect, there's a flow between the rooms that I noticed and enjoyed. Traveling to visit a large family can become complicated, however having a place of my own to stay made coming and going a pleasure. I made the most of my time alone and my time with family and friends was quality over quantity. I would recommend this property to family and friends. I love the smaller black rock beach in Nahant, one of my favorite spots on earth. Parking is a problem, but I thought ahead and brought my bike along which made getting to the beaches stress free and the exercise made for a good nights sleep.
My husband and I enjoyed our four nights here. Too little time to enjoy all of the home's ammenities; we skipped the indoor jetted tub for two in order to spend an extra evening in the hot tub out on the deck. it was quite warm during our visit so we didn't use any of the wood provided for the fireplace but it would have been very welcome during the cold season. It took some time to figure out the sound system but a phone call to the owner stepped us through all the buttons and switches so we could enjoy the cabinets full of CD's available for guests. He was very helpful and pleasant about our lack of technological expertise. It was easy to find the house with the directions provided. The place was clean, completely stocked with basic kitchen and bath necessities plus lots and lots of extras such as fresh fruit, drinks, and a Sunday newspaper on the doorstep. The photos and description of the property are very accurate. The views from the top floor bedroom truly are excellent. We were lucky enough to have warm weather so we could sleep all four nights with both sliding doors open on the third floor in order to wake to glorious sunrises and birds singing. The owner has provided binolulars mounted on a tripod so guests can scan the boats and islands and birdsup close. The beach was a couple of blocks away. Be CERTAIN to memorize the street name of the property. We went zipping down to the beach the first morning we were there and then found ourselves wandering around quite awhile before successfully finding our way back home. If you decide to visit, be certain to locate the photo of the property taken from the ocean circa 1890. It's on the wall next to the right hand side sliding doors to the deck on the main floor. This house has good bones; it's been standing here quite awhile. We flew kites on the beach, walked for miles in the sand, and sampled several good restaurants within walking distance. Lot's more we didn't get to check out. We would particularly like to recommend stopping at the fish market next to Anthony's Pier 4 restaurant. Choose your dinner out of the display cases and take your choices home to pop into the oven. The staff were friendly and helpful with cooking suggestings. And they provided a small tub of their special sauce for the crabcakes. Great way to enjoy the local seafood and lick your fingers in the privacy of your own dining room. Overall, this is a home we would like to come back to for future vacations.
From the time we walked in the door...we were in awe!!!!! When we walked in and saw the inside of the house, we mentioned how beautiful and hospitable it was, BUT....when we walked to the back of the house and looked out the windows, THEN WE WERE IN AWE!!!! The view was UNREAL!!!!! Have stayed in several places from VRBO, in several different states and this is by far, the best and the most beautiful I have have ever stayed in....GORGEOUS!!!!!
Wonderful setup, private setting, and very convenient parkinig at the house. Minutes from Boston and all the other wonderful sites around the North Shore. Overlooking Fisherman's Beach with a view of the entire beauty of Boston, Nahant and causeway skyline. As a native of Swampscott, I was thrilled to return on any level, but to stay at such a great place only topped off a wonderful vacation We'd stay there again, unquestionably, and recommend it to friends and family.
We were stunned at the beauty, the charm, the location and views of this incredible place! It is beautifully appointed, comfortable, exquisitely decorated, and so fully stocked upon our arrival that we could immediately relax. This lovely home is close to everything, and it would be hard to match the comfort level and ocean views anywhere else. We kept remarking to each other that this is perhaps the most beautiful place we've ever stayed in. Thanks to the owner who was extremely kind, generous and helpful. We will definitely return, and can hardly wait!
What a beautiful and peaceful alternative to staying in a hotel...especially for our honeymoon! Ivan was very hospitable, thinking of the little things we didn't even consider ahead of time. The house is beautiful--modern yet comfortable. One of our "must haves" in looking for a place to stay was a jacuzzi, and so we LOVED having both a hot tub AND jacuzzi to ourselves. We relaxed in the hot tub on the cool evenings under the stars, and walked on the beach across the street during the day. Coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean in the morning was a plus too. A short drive to everywhere, and all the privacy we could have asked for in a city setting. Thank you!!!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: the house is comfortable, quiet, well-decorated, and supplied with everything one might need. The views, particularly from the bedroom upstairs, are stunning - what a delight to wake up looking out over Nahant Bay! And the hot tub made for a lovely way to relax on a cold night. Very pleased!
Thank you Ivan! It was our first Christmas away from family - had a splendid time. Loved the big kitchen, beautiful decks, hot tub, jacuzzi, and of course the phenomenal views. What a relaxing, refreshing and romantic Christmas.
Happy New Year!
While looking for vacation rentals in Swampscott, MA there isn't many, but what we found is by far the most beautiful place we could have imagined...the view is spectacular ...not only from one enormous first floor balcony which houses a Hugh jacuzzi and overlooks a serene majestic view, but another large second floor balcony that brings your viewing to a whole never level and while lying in bed you feel your floating on the waters....simply wonderful.....the house itself has EVERYTHING one can ask for...
The owner Ivan could not have been more accommodating. We highly recommend this home for anyone who is looking to stay in the area...this is differently our go to place whenever we are in town....
Thank You Ivan for a most memorable stay...you will differently see us again.....
