Bolton Valley Resort is located 2 miles up the hill - they are Vermont's only wind powered ski resort and home to the highest base elevation in Vermont, with over 300 inches of snow per year it's a local delight, challenging for the best and great for kids too - for real.
Their wedding and event pavilion, The Ponds, is located 1 mile from our home.
Waterbury is Ben and Jerry's country - go on a tour, eat some ice cream. Stowe, home to the Ski Resort of the same name and a quaint and upscale village experience is a must see. Richmond, Vermont is a quintessential Vermont experience, with locally owned restaurants and bars, farmers markets, playgrounds and a great bakery.
The Long trail runs along the top our our land and is a 2 mile walk...you can access the trail, the oldest continuous footpath in the US, from our house and walk to Canada - I've done it! Miles of roads of biking await and tubing on the Winooski river...Live music, sports, theater and amazing food and recreation are all around.
