Seattle Bungalow in a Perfect Location!

Charming bungalow in Wallingford — one of Seattle's best urban neighborhoods, nestled between Fremont and the University District. The house is in a safe and quiet but vibrant neighborhood and is only a 10-minute drive to downtown locations such …

I can't gush too much over this VRBO. No complaints...none. The area is perfect, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, quiet neighborhood...and the house is top notch. I also can't say enough good things about the owner - a last minute request was fulfilled without hesitation. I highly recommend and will stay here again on our next visit to Seattle.
Our family met in Seattle to spend a few days before an Alaskan cruise. The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. It‘s a very well kept house, immaculate, and in a wonderful neighborhood. We really enjoyed walking to some of the local restaurants and attractions, and loved returning to such a quiet, peaceful place after an eventful day. The back yard patio is beautiful, shady, and serene, and is a perfect place for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We found everything we needed in the way of linens and utensils, the beds were very comfortable, and overall it was a great stay! The only negative for us was the very eary sunrise (4 a.m.) streaming in through very lightly covered windows. We were up and moving much earlier than we intended each day, but we did have exceptionally clear sunny weather. Bridget was very helpful and accommodating, and I would love to stay here again if we can make it back to Seattle. Loved it!
Great facilityand location for gathering parts of our family to celebrate a graduation from medical school. We enjoyed the property - housed 5 family members - and the location which was central to several locations of our visit. We also enjoyed the neighborhood. House was clean and had what we needed.
Excellent location, excellent accommodations, and excellent owner. Family trip for 6 of us. Having the washer/dryer was very handy to help cut down on the amount of things we had to pack. We wallked to several restaurants and parks in the area. Having the BBQ in the back was also of great use. The owner was very responsive and let us know she was available for any questions. I would definitely use this place again in the future.
We were very fortunate to stay at this neat, clean and quiet holiday bungalow. My husband and I and our two adults sons had a wonderful and relaxing time for three days. Lots of room! We had a great time biking to town and attending some Seattle Mariner baseball games. We would recommend this location and bungalow for families. .
We were together with our two sons and a girlfriend for almost a week. The layout with the two bathrooms was great, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. With five of us, we never felt like we were in each others way. We did some cooking and found all that we needed in the kitchen. As was expressed in another review, we could have used a few more dishes, but it wasn't a big problem - just ran the dishwasher more often. We enjoyed eating and hanging out on the private and quiet patio. It was very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and stores. The description and photos of the house were accurate. It was clean. Bridget was available and friendly. This house worked very well for us.
We really enjoyed our stay. Location excellent. Quiet street with shopping within walking distance. On street parking no problem. Would return and recommend to friends.
We spent just over a week at the Wallingford bungalow. It was an excellent base of operations. Parking was convenient -- and once the car was parked we had few excuses to use it. There are plenty of restaurants within five blocks, plus a sizable weekly farmer's market, grocery store, and a range of shops specializing in everything from wine to socks. For the runners in the family, it's less than 3 blocks to Woodland Park -- connecting you to miles of unpaved trails up and around Green Lake, the zoo, etc. Those without a car could make use of two nearby bus lines to go downtown, to the University district, or Ballard. The house itself was a very comfortable place to stay for our family of five. The kids found lots of books to read. The neighborhood was very quiet in the evening. Bridget was a very gracious and accommodating hostess. The only drawback we found with the house involved cooking supplies ... the pots and pans were older; a few items such as bowls for breakfast cereal were in short supply. But that would certainly not stop us from staying here again. Overall, highly recommended.
What an amazing stay our family has had at the bungalow ! The house is so welcoming and charming and has everything you could possibly need. We stayed there for 4 months, arriving from a foreign country and felt right at home. Bridget is extremely helpful and kind without ever being intrusive. Not only is the house perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood, it is also very close to convenient stores, restaurants and cafes. Our children enjoyed the wonderful playgrounds around as well as the cute backyard. It's just the perfect place to feel at home !
