    Orcas Island is located just two hours north of Seattle in the beautiful San Juan Islands. Catch the ferry from Anacortes to Orcas or fly straight to Eastsound Airport.<br><br>For occupancy only during the low fall-spring rental season. Owner occupied during fall/winter/spring and then the entire house is available for summer high season rentals.<br><br>Rent a room in our house for 1 or more nights or a full week. Located in the heart of Eastsound for easy access to all shops, restaurants, and businesses.<br><br>Choose the room on the bottom floor next to the TV/bonus space or the room on the main floor located next to the private bathroom/shower. Rent one room only or rent both.<br><br>All other spaces in the house are shared with owner and family. The shared spaces include kitchen, living room, and dining area.<br><br>Rental includes cleaning fee and taxes. It was very comfortable!<br><br>Notes from guestbook summer 2010:<br><br>Thank you for sharing your home! Your attention to detail was apparent. We celebrated our eldest son’s 30th birthday, did some fishing in Cascade Lake and Mountain Lake, and were successful in bringing back some fish. Yesterday we took advantage of the guided trip to watch whales and saw some playful activity. A great photo op---a whale jumped high for us! All in all it was a restful, relaxing, and memorable vacation.<br><br>Your home is very beautiful, thank you for sharing your home with our family. We loved taking walks in town and enjoying the scenery. We will definitely be back.<br><br>Thank you. We had such a wonderful stay at Alder Bungalow. Thank you for your help in making our family getaway a memorable one. We’ll be back!<br><br>We have very much enjoyed our stay at Alder Bungalow. We came for a family member’s wedding and have enjoyed our time here in this beautiful corner of the world. I’d love to come back again just to enjoy the area.
