We had a fabulous time in a very unique and vibrant city. This apartment entirely suited our needs - spacious, tastefully furnished, close to downtown and a home away from home. If we come to town again we would request the same accommodation here at the Elektra. Thanks Doug for making us feel welcome and informed in a pleasant and casual manner. Thank you Becki and Doug for handling our booking and check-in so professionally!
What a memorable "sister's week" in Seattle we all had. Loved it! Underground tour, Pike Place Market, Ride the Ducks, Science Museum, King Tut, Space Needle, Monorail. Lots of excellent food, beautiful weather and only short bouts of rain. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. So much walking, beautiful city, friendly people. We'll definitey return. Thank you for a lovely stay - comfortable beds, just like home.
Came here for a conference at the Convention Center and was surprised to see how close it was. I've enjoyed the amenitis you've offered. Much better than the hotels suggested by the conference planner. The kitchen (well outfitted) allowed me to enjoy taking trips to Pike Market for ingredients I can't find in Tennessee. This will be my first choice to stay when I come back.
Thanks for having us. The location is ideal for getting around. We managed to take the ferry to Bainbridge Island, the Monorail to the Space Needle and today we'll see the Marinier's take on the Orioles. It's our kids first time to Seattle. I thought we'd run them ragged, but our plan backfired - it's daddy who's tired!
We had a wonderful honeymoon here in Seattle! The studio was beautiful and comfy. Thanks for giving us a home away from home. We will cherish all of the memories from this charming place. P.S - It rained every single day we were here.
The location, rooms and atmophere was wonderful. It was nice to come back here to a comfortable, warm and homey place. When we come back again this is where we will stay. Thanks for such a wonderful and exciting stay.
Came for a conference held at the Convention Center. Great location. Made it easy to go sightseeing after our meetings. Lovely apartment. We will come back again!
Thanks for the stay, place was in perfect spot to walk everywhere we wanted to go. View from the rooftop deck is beautiful at night!
We loved Seattle and surrounding Islands. Wish we could have had 2 more weeks here. Great place to stay, convenient to everything and very nice. James did a great job of making us feel welcome and answered all our questions. I'm ready to move here. Maybe the most beautiful area we have every been to. Can hardly wait to come back.

      St. John's # 203 - 2 BR, Sleeps 6 - Great Location
St. John's Apartments #203 is a large two bedroom with a combined kitchen/dining/living area. It's on the corner of East Pike and Harvard with a great view down to the street. East Pike Street is the main arterial that connects downtown Seattle with the Capitol Hill Neighborhood. St. John's is 17 blocks from the Pike Place Market, 8 blocks from the Washington State Convention Center and on the other side 3 - 5 blocks from the busy restaurant and bar area of Capitol Hill. We're right in-between, a great location. Across the street is a large grocery store, so it's very easy to stay at St. John's. We have six short term apartments and 17 long term rentals. You can view more photos and information on our website, which is linked below.

The apartment has two bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, nightstands, dresser, good closet space and a makeup/writing desk. There is a 40" TV in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has two adult sized twin beds. Adult sized means they are longer than typical twins, 8 inches longer--the length of a queen bed. They're much more comfortable when adults use them, and of course great for children as well. The second bedroom has a 32" TV, dresser and closet.

The main room combines the kitchen/dining and living areas. The dining room table is in the bump-out corner, giving it a great view down onto E. Pike and Harvard Avenue. We just love sitting there and people watching! The kitchen area is small, taking up one wall plus a nook area for the full sized refrigerator. There is an electric stove and large microwave plus small appliances like a toaster and blender and all the necessary cookware to prepare and enjoy meals in the apartment. We stock the fridge and cabinet with basic cooking essentials like cooking oil, salt and pepper etc. Also included is a coffee maker and both caffeinated and decaf coffees.

The living room area features a couch by American Leather. It's a very expensive couch but well worth it. It's comfortable for just sitting. And it's the most comfortable of all sleeper sofas when you pull it open to use as a bed. The platform is solid and the bed is a high density foam. Together it's just about as good as a real bed. We have this same bed in our one bedrooms #300 and 3308 and have had lots of compliments over the years as to how comfortable the sleeper is to sleep in.

Also in the living room area is a 40" Samsung LED TV. We have satellite TV so everything is in Hi-Def and there are over 100 channels including HBO. Plus there's a DVD player and a stereo with ipod/iphone dock. And of course there is high speed wireless internet.

The bathroom has a combined tub/shower. He entry hall is long with hooks for coats and umbrellas and a small set of shelves stocked with some non-essential items to make it homey. Included are some nice art/picture books, some Pulitzer Prize winning novels and toys for when younger people come visit.

Our manager, Johnny Sidorowicz, lives right next to apartment 203. He will be there to check you in and give you advice on neighborhood sights, etc.; anything you might need. We also have an assistant manager that lives in the building, so you're never without help if you want it. Of course the location is perfect with the grocery store across the street and all the restaurants and night spots around us. It's very easy to walk downtown and a car is really not necessary. Plus the bus stops one block away, if you don't want to walk. It's $1.50 to ride the bus and it's an easy straight shot downtown. But we are on a hill--Capitol Hill. You go down when going downtown. When coming back, it's up the steep hill. That's when the bus can look very pleasing!

You can reserve on-line through our website. There's an accurate availability calendar that will show any days that are available for each of our six apartments, and give you pricing. You can reserve on-line through the site if you wish.

Thank you for considering St. John's. Happy Travels!
