Charming, Modern 1 Bedroom Condo in the **Heart of Downtown**
In this condo, you can sleep soundly on the Memory Foam queen sized bed with down feather pillows and comforter (it's even located on the quieter side of the building!), take a relaxing bath in the condo's shower/tub combination, and do a little g …
We were greeted by Grace, a friendly and welcoming landlord willing to share many details on how to enhance our stay in Seattle. The condo was very well located for the traveler who wants to walk the streets of Seattle while having access to various forms of public transportation. We especially enjoyed two of Seattle's new restaurants, Poquitos and Von Trapps, both within walking distance of the condo. If you enjoy Bocce Ball and German food/beer, you have to try Von Trapps with five indoor Bocce Ball courts with a full menu of special eats and beverages.
We would definitely recommend this condo and its location to first time travelers to Seattle. And if you're attending a conference at the Conference Center, it's located right across the street!
This condo is spacious, quiet and comfortable. The trees outside the windows make it feel especially charming and cozy. It is in a very good location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Just be aware that the little market that is closest to the apartment is not adequate, and very expensive, if you plan to do much cooking. Walk just a few blocks further up Pike Street and you will find a fully-stocked, reasonably-priced QFC supermarket. Grace was delightful and very helpful. Our only suggestion is that the apartment needs a few more glasses. There were two water glasses and two wine glasses, so they had to be washed out every time we used them.
We had an enjoyable stay in this nice little apartment. It was very clean and well kept. The unit is on the back side of the building so it is quiet with no road noise. The only criticism of the place would be that the bathroom was a little small with no ventillation. The location was great- right between Capitol Hill and Pike's Market area with many things in walking distance. The building itself is an older building, but as long as you ignore the old smells in the hallways, it is a great place to stay and we would certainly do it again.
Very clean and well appointed apartment well within walking distance to the CBD.
This owner apparently has several condos. We were put in a different apartment to the one pictured -although it was similarly decorated, it was slightly shabby and only had a small round table with three chairs in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were in a closet with a padlock on it, and there was no access to a roof deck.
However, the apartment was clean and well located just around the corner from the convention center.
Excellent choice for a 2 person stay. The location is perfect for exploring downtown, especially for those not wanting to rent a car. You can walk everywhere, even to the monorail station to get to the Space Needle or to various ferry stations to check out other areas. The condo has everything you need to cook at home if you like and there´s a little grocery store right around the corner. They have an excellent deli there as well. The condo´s layout is very cozy and comfortable, with an excellent view of the city. Grace, the owner, was very attentive and we would definitely stay there again.
Our only suggestions are to put an extra deadbolt lock on the door and we would have liked to be able to use the washer and dryer.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. Thank you so much Grace!
Spent two nights here and definitely recommend this condo. Not only walking distance to downtown, but also walking distance to some great neighborhood restaurants and businesses. I even dropped in for a yoga class at a studio just a few blocks away. Grace was lovely and very helpful - she walked us through everything and made it clear she was just a phone call away if needed. The condo is comfortable, quiet and very clean. We didn't do any cooking because there were many great restaurants nearby, but the kitchen seemed well-stocked for those who prefer stay-at-home meals. Plenty of space, and the parking was a definite bonus. I would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at this lovely one-bedroom condo the week of March 18th while I attended a conference at the Seattle Convention Center. The location was perfect for me since the conference center is across the street! Grace, the owner was extremely hospitable, the photos accurately depict the property, the unit is very clean, and the area is safe and centrally located. The monorail is only about 6 blocks away and, although we had rented a car, we didn't use it for 5 of our 7 days in Seattle because we could walk or use the monorail to get to most of our areas of interest. Speaking of our rental car, it was great to have a parking spot included with our rental; this saved us a lot of money! Within blocks of the condo there are great restaurants, sports bars, hair salons, grocery stores, etc. Should we plan a trip to Seattle again I would contact Grace immediately. Grace also mentioned that they have a couple of units available; therefore, if you are traveling with friends or family, you could consider staying at the same building while still having your own space.
We spent 2 wonderful nights in this rental. Grace (the owner) called me to offer to pick us up at the monorail station so we did not have to walk with our suitcases to the condo. That was not something I expected, but happily accepted. The condo is very well situated between Pikes Place and Capitol Hill. We did not rent a car so every place we wanted to go we either walked or took public transit. We had flown in for the big Seahawks vs 49er's game (Seahawks dominated!). It was easy to walk to and from the game. The condo offered more than enough space for the 3 of us and also came with a parking space if needed. It was clean, nicely painted, and filled with modern pieces of art on the walls. I would definitely stay here again! The only issue I can think that I would change would be the hard mattress in the master bedroom. Thanks again, Grace! We had a great time! I look forward to contacting you again so we can stay at the condo!
The condo was adorable and comfy. I live in an "in-town" condo in my city and it was just like being at home. Easy walk to everything. One direction is restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, waterfront and market place. The other direction is an nice neighborhood with cafes and local shops.
Rachel (grace's dtr) was a super hostess. She met me there, provided great local advice on places. My stay was 2 weeks, she checked in a few times and followed up on a very small issue.
It was a great stay and i would definitely recommend this condo and owner.
