Steps to Beaches and Coastal Trail, Close to Golden Gate Park, garage parking
This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom newly remodeled flat on Seal Rock Dr. has ocean views and is steps from Sutro Park, the Sutro Bath Ruins, the Coastal Trail, Lands End, the famous Cliff House Restaurant, Ocean Beach and the picturesque Seal Rocks. Take a …
This property was in a nice location with easy access to the ocean for hikes and visiting baths. Very clean and stocked with needed items. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. I would recommend staying here!
The apartment has really nice, with the charm that any old, well maintained construction have. the location really good, close to nice scenic views of the sea and big park. I would recommended highly and try to comeback soon. The owners very helpful.
Fantastic condo so close to the beach you can hear the surf! Easy access to local attractions. Perfect place to stay for our family vacation!!
Very nice property located at Land's End in the Richmond area of San Francisco. The apartment is clean and bright inside with a well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment away from the road so a peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed. The beds were very comfortable and there is adequate space to store clothes. There's also a fold out bed (futon) in the lounge but it's a bit on the hard side and whoever sleeps there will get woken up by early morning street noise e.g. when trash bins are being collected.
Fantastic location - the apartment is literally a couple of minutes walk from the coastal path and a five minute walk will get you to the beach. Our son thought it was a great place for running / jogging. If you're not keen on cooking while on holiday, there are a couple of good restaurants in the area (within walking distance) and a short drive or taxi ride will get you to some great eating places in the Inner Richmond district.
This was a family holiday and our first visit to San Francisco. It was so nice to come back to the apartment at the end of a busy day knowing we could relax and chill out. I'd definitely recommend this place and would stay again the next time we visit the city.
This apartment is perfect for family vacation, you have everything close by, beach, parks, shopping and attractions near by. The apartment itself has spaceous rooms and a great kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy. We have allready booked our next two stays here, and will be happy to recommend it. My wife and son had a morning ritual going doen to the Lands End museum/cafe each morning for a cup of coffee and warm chocolate, nice service and stunning view, and only few feets away.
Great property. Close to the beach. 5.7 miles away from downtown. We had a rental car and also utilized the bus and trolley system. We will stay here again.
We visited San Francisco for the Bluegrass festival at Golden Gate Park and stayed in this fantastic apartment. The place was clean, modern, and had everything we needed! We were able to walk to and from the park, which was perfect for us. The ocean is right at the end of the street and it was so nice to be able to walk down there when we needed to. This is a quieter, more residential area so if you're looking to be in the heart of the city, this is not the place for you. For us, it was exactly what we needed. I was traveling with my sister and my parents. But I think this would be a great location for a family as well. Close to the beach and Golden Gate Park and just a bus ride away from all of the touristy stuff!
It was our first visit to San Francisco and we found the rental to be in a good location to make it easy to go everywhere. We were two couples and the apartment was roomy and comfortable. It was great to have a place to come home to after a busy day and relax together rather than going back to a hotel. The location was very close to the Coastal Trail with beautiful views. I would recommend this rental as a good place to stay.
My family really enjoyed our stay! The house and location was everything we expected and more ! Close to the water and only a short distance from Union Square and Fishermans Wharf....
Our family of 8 recently rented the upstairs and downstairs apt. in this building. All of us were comfortable and felt the location couldn't be beat. We much prefer to stay out of the hustle and bustle of downtown and this location did not disappoint. We were easily able to walk to the Sutro Baths or through Trail's End, had easy access to a morning walk on the beach where we found sanddollars, and access the GGB easily for our trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito. Wile the drive getting over to Fisherman's Wharf was a little longer, the drive through the Presidio to get there was beautiful.
Marie was prompt in answering all questions and laid out the terms of the agreement very well so we knew what to expect. She has the apartments well outfitted with all of the necessities in the kitchen so we were able to make several meals there and save some money eating out.
I highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting to take a trip to San Francisco!!
We had a blast in San Francisco. Everything was easy to get to. Parking at the house was no issue. The views outside were amazing. The walking trails were nice and close. Beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. The Cliff House and Sutro Pools are 1/4 mile away. Both were nice to walk around. Very Impressive in just the shear size of the Pools. We had a great meal with a window view at the Cliff House. Thanks to your neighbor who told us about "Twin Peaks " absolutly the best view in San Francisco. You can see all of S.F.and Oakland as well both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. We will be coming back, If the house were available I would stay again. But the next time, I want the top flat. Probably the only negative thing I would say is you can hear the people walking upstairs. And I also heard the views were better up stairs.
Recent visit to San Francisco for graduation ceremony at SFSU was made even better by our stay in this great apartment. Walking distance to the ocean, GG Park, eating and shopping establishments. The kitchen was well-equipped, furnishings comfortable, and the back yard fire pit area was a real bonus for a pre-dinner glass of wine. The garage was welcome bonus for the rental car we used to make the very easy drive to Fisherman's Wharf and the Embarcadero. Will definitely consider this apartment for future trips to the area.
We loved the place! It was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was a playpen/crib for our little guy!
The location was beautiful and we did lots of walking along the ocean path/Lands End. We were a 5 minute walk to the cliff house and we ate there 2 nights (great views and food).
The location of this property is a huge strength. It is walking distance to a park along the cliffs with a walking/running trail. Staying here gave us a good feel for "living in San Fran". The property is clean and maintained. It is about a 20 minute drive downtown. You would have to walk about 15-20 min to ge to a local shop. Owner was helpful in answering our questions. What we did not know until we arrived is that the floors are very creaky and doors are squeaky. This was not ideal at night when some people were asleep and you're awake. We had the downstairs apt and some guests arrived in the upstairs apt. the evening of our penultimate night. The walls/floors are very thin so we could here each footstep loud and clear as well as music and conversations without difficulty. They were not present our last night but if they were, it would have been irritating. These were the only negatives of the place.
