Beautiful, furnished 1 bedroom apartment with floor to ceiling windows, full living room, dining room, minimally decorated in creative, designer apartment in the heart of San Francisco.
3 blocks from Hayes Valley shopping and dining, 3 blocks from Polk Street night life, tons of great restaurants and 3 blocks from Japantown and the Fillmore with all of their amazing venues and cuisine as well. Located directly across the street from Jefferson Square Park on Cathedral Hill- a huge dog friendly green with amazing sunset views at your front door.
Parking is easy if you have a car in the city. Its one of the few locations in the city that isn't metered hourly, only once a week street cleaning. The apartment building is a beautiful deco landmark, featured in Alfred Hitchcock's film Vertigo and there is an elevator or stairs to get to the 1st floor level apartment.
The apartment includes all utilities and wireless internet in a pet friendly building. Please inquire about staying in this little luxurious apt- a much better deal and comfort than any hotel in the city.
The leather couch also folds down into a bed to accommodate another guest if necessary.
This newly remodeled, well-appointed condo is located in the heart of San Francisco, Russian Hill, which is one of San Francisco's 44 hills, and one of its original "Seven Hills." Winding stairs and one-way alleys hide lush gardens and gorgeous houses. The unit is located on the second floor of a clean, stately six-unit building within walking distance to major attractions San Francisco has to offer.
Lots to do -Restaurants such as Sushigroove and Zarzuella specialize in upscale, but young ethnic cuisine, respectively Japanese and Spanish. In a hurry or on a budget? Get pizza at popular Za or ice cream at Swenson's while waiting for the cable car.
Shopping & Dining North of California Street there are a variety of shops, coffeehouses and restaurants for every budget and taste. There are many small markets, a pharmacy and a health food store on Polk Street but youll need transportation to get to a major grocery store. Polk Street has a seedy southern portion of the street that runs through the Tenderloin.
Excellent walking neighborhood - Russian Hill is most famous for Lombard Street, a roadway with eight sharp turns (or switchbacks) that have earned the street the distinction of being "the crookedest street in the world." This is one of the most famous pedestrian sightseeing areas in California, and perhaps the world.
Please Note: There is no elevator in this building; access requires taking 21 stairs to the second floor. Open floor-plan is not conducive to privacy for third parties (there are no doors to the bedroom).
