Enjoy San Francisco at its best--a spacious, luminous airy 1200 square foot house in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood. Ease of access to all of SF and the Bay Area. Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown, Alcatraz.. Located in the R …
Great location, very clean and nicely furnished with nice amenities. Safe, convenient neighborhood. Jacob was quite responsive and helpful. We would recommend this property for anyone.
We are a family of 3 and stayed in this property for one week to visit SF. We selected this property because it looked very clean an with modern equipments. This fact was absolutely confirmed. We felt very comfortable living there. The other reason was the positive feedback's we did read about Jacob. This is really true ! He has been very helpful and really caring about us. Thank you very much Jacob, you are a nice person to deal with !
We did all our visits by car. It was very easy to parc in the street. This part of the city ist well located and it seems to be quit secure. It's a 15 min. drive to the Fisherman's Wharf. We used mostly Legion of Honor drive followed by Lincoln drive to drive into the city. It's a scenic drive with few traffic and beautiful vista points. It takes only 5 minutes to reach the Golden Gate. You should also explore Land's End by foot. You will have dramatic views of the coastline and of course the Golden Gate.
Dont forget that the weather is cool in SF. It's definitively not necessary to search about property's with swimming pools and outdoor patios. This property is reasonably priced and fits very well to stay in SF.
We looked for a vacation to stay in San Francisco for a week. This house was a really nice spot. Though not being central to the city, everything was clean and we immediately felt at home. The sea-side is only some blocks away and the nice golden gate park is in walking distance.
With the bus in front, we didn't need a car, which made city seeing nice and easy. The bus ride will take a while, though. If staying here, check for the speed-busses (38L).
Apart from that the house had everything we needed. A supermarket in 3-bus-stops distance, a drug store with the most things in walking distance.
Jacob, the property manager was very nice and helpful. Thanks again for that!!
Without doubt, this property will be a choice if we visit San Francisco again!
at first i want to say thank you to jacob for the perfect service and the help during our stay.
the property is very well located to explore all the interesting places i could imagine in SF. close to beach, supermarket and restaurants. very well equiped kitchen and hifi tv equipment is perfect. beds are comfortable and the whole place was clean.
We were planning a family holiday (2 adults, 2 children age 7 and 3 and one grandma!!) San Francisco our chosen destination, I really struggled at first as we didn't think a hotel would be very good for the kids. I found the 'home away' website and was pleasantly surprised with the number of vacation rentals on offer. I narrowed the search and e-mailed my enquiries, Jacob got back to me very promptly and with was extremely helpful with all aspects of the booking.
The holiday itself was fabulous, and made much easier by Jacobs excellent customer service, not just when booking but during our stay as well.
This apartment is very spacious with ample room for us. It is really easy to use public transport from here - Just walk up to the top of the road and catch the bus straight into the city. There are restaurants within walking distance also. We hired a car and had no problems parking a couple of minutes walk from the property. The beach chalet on ocean beach is a lovely place to eat and watch the sunset, Louis' was still open for evening meals at the weekends when we visited and the seal rock inn did fabulous breakfasts.
The kids loved the huge TV and were kept amused with the games and DVDs whilst we got everything ready for our days out.
if we ever visit San Francisco again we would definitely stay here.
Our family vacation this year was very nice in San Francisco. Finding this rental property made it even better. The property is located in a residential area that is 6 blocks from the water and one block from the local Wal Greens. You can even view a portion of the Pacific Ocean from the kitchen window. The house is nice and roomy. There were seven of us that stayed at the property. The beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable. We used the pull out sofa and Jacob was kind enough to offer us 2 fold out futons to make our stay even more comfortable. The property offers more than enough linens to use. The kitchen is well equipped with nice dishes, "Wolfgang Puck" pots, glasses, utensils and even a dishwasher. The "Big Screen TV" was a plus and there is a great selection of DVD's to view, although we didn't have time to watch any. The bathroom is roomy and had more than enough plush towels to use during our stay. Jacob is very courteous and helpful. I checked with other rental properties in the area some of them you had to rent during a certain time that included the weekends. Thank you Jacob for calling me after I inquired about your property. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to the San Francisco area. Thanks again Jacob. Sincerely, Pam
I'm from Canada and have stayed in this property for 8 days with 5 of my friends.
First, Jacob, is very friendly and easy to work with. We had looked for a few properties before but many didn't bother to respond or provided prompt responses. Jacob provided to a level of service that my friends and I were more than satisfied. Deposit was refunded immediately when we were done our trip.
The location of the property is in the north east of San Francisco. A slight bit away from the downtown location but transportation via Muni Bus is frequent. We never had to wait more than 5 mins for transportation.
Don't let the pictures fool you, the place was quite big. Especially the living room and master bedroom.
The leather couch was very comfortable and a huge TV!!
All the basic kitchen necessities were there. There were lots of items such as kids games, DVDs... etc that we had access to (even though we didn't need all these items). And thanks for the fruits, Jacob.
We had a friend over the day before 4th of July and she was also impressed with the size and overall amenities. I would recommend this property to my friends if they ever decide to come to San Fran.
If there was one thing that I didn't like about this place, it would be that the shower had see-through glass doors. That means I couldn't go to the washroom when my friend is taking a shower without seeing him or her naked. lol. But I think that can be fixed with a shower curtain.
The neighborhood is quiet as stated.
If you need more information of our personal opinions, i'll gladly give it. Jacob can provide you with my email address
Thanks, Jacob! If we stop by San Fran again, you'll be the choice of accommodation.
