There is a tall breakfast table with stools in the kitchen area but considering the area is one of the sunniest in San Francisco you will probably choose the patio on the back of the house to have your breakfast or snacks while looking at the beautifull maintained neighbor garden.
LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Neighborhood: MISSION The Mission is perhaps the trendiest neighborhood of San Francisco and the Potrero Hill neighborhood is one of the most desirable neighborhood to live in. The property is located in the border of these two. Mission: A mix of hipsters, tech employees, and families who have lived in the area for generations, this area gives you a friendly view to a true cross-section of the city. Potrero Hill: Potrero Hill is a residential neighborhood known for its views of the San Francisco Bay and city skyline, its close proximity to many destination spots, its sunny weather, and for having two freeways and a Caltrain station. Initially a working-class neighborhood until gentrification in the 1990s, it is now an upper-middle-class family-oriented neighborhood.

The property is located in a quiet residential street away from activity. Within few blocks and walking distance you will find a Whole Foods center with its famous brew bar on the Portrero side. A very convininet local sandwich place is just across the street and also a renown sushi restaurant, Live, is just two blocks away. The Design District is located in the low-lying area between Townsend Street and 16th Street, only one block away form the property and it is a mixed industrial-office-retail area, with a concentration of showrooms and upscale shops, as well as the San Francisco campus of the California College of the Arts. Wile on the Mission side you will find the Bryant Street corridor where you can enjoy super-hot and new trendy bars, cafes and restaurants like Trick Bar, Salumeria, Flour and Water, Blow Fish, Universal Cafe, Asiento, Atlas Cafe, Local's Corner, Cofee Bar and Slow Club.

Of course you are in the Mission so you will find a large selection of restaurants serving authentic Mexican, Ecuadorian, Guatemalan and other ethnic foods at low prices. We like Metate. A few minutes farther away you can enjoy the bustling neighborhood around 16th and Valencia Street.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

NEIGHBORHOOD: Located on the border of MISSION, HAYES VALLEY and SOMA neighborhoods. The three most trendy areas in the city! It is very central with easy access to Downtown or Castro via Muni (SF subway, only 2 stops away!) light train, bus or even within walking distance. You will be in the middle of the trendy shops and bars of the Hayes Valley, the new tech companies of SOMA and the melting pot of the Mission.

MISSION. The Mission has the best weather in the city, especially around this block. It is frequently warm and sunny when the rest of the city can be cold and foggy. In addition to that, it is less windy than many neighborhoods.

Residents in the Mission are incredibly diverse. Artists, street people, professionals and the general SF lot mix. Its gentrification is making it one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city.

HAYES VALLEY. This San Francisco vacation rental is located in the heart of Hayes Valley. Unlike some other parts of San Francisco, Hayes Valley has managed to retain a sense of community and a nonexclusive feel despite the fast build-up and high price tags. Some of the businesses that braved the less-than-savory days are still around, such as the Hayes Street Grill, now twice its original size. But many of the shops sprouted up in the '90s, making Hayes Valley a real destination spot. The combination results in a wide diversity in clientele. While high-end San Franciscans sip $7 cocktails at Absinthe, down the street many are powering down an entire meal for around the same price at Flipper's. Now, tourists also head here specifically for the shopping, for one-of-a-kinds like a buffalo-leather chair or an exclusive Sue Wong Art Deco gown. The Hayes Valley commercial sector is young in age, but adult in style. As a destination, it serves theater and symphony patrons as well as high-end fashion and furnishing shoppers.

SOMA: South of Market is a huge district, sprawling from the Embarcadero to Eleventh Street, between Market and Townsend. The neighborhood is a patchwork of warehouses, swanky nightspots, residential hotels, art spaces, loft apartments, furniture showrooms and the notorious Internet companies. Although a lot of building has gone on in recent years, it is still not densely developed. You can walk several desolate blocks before suddenly finding a hopping restaurant. Most of the action can be found in three general areas: by South Park and the Giants ballpark, around the SF MOMA and Yerba Buena gardens, and over by Folsom and Eleventh Street. SoMa, as it's known, sounds a little like a SoHo wannabe, and it does have a strong downtown vibe.

PARKING SITUATION

Parking lot included in the same building. The spot is not covered against the rain.
