Beautifully Remodeled Elegant and Spacious Flat

    San Francisco

This 2 bedroom 2 bath flat is on the first floor of a 2-unit building. The building is on the historic building register of San Francisco because it appears in the book ''Here Today''. The house is one of the original farm houses in the Noe Valley …

This was the perfect setting for a reunion with some special friends. The apartment was beautifully furnished and immaculately maintained, with wonderful unexpected touches, including radiant heat in the floor and a citrus tree in the back yard. It must be the best dollar-per-square-foot deal in San Francisco. Noe Valley is a cool part of town away from the touristy areas, but with easy access to them by Muni, so we got a feel for what real San Franciscans live like. (Hint: They've got it even better than we thought.) Nice, friendly neighborhood with lots of fun restaurants and shops.
The apartment was larger than we expected. Everything was clean and well maintained, ready for you to live in; we stayed for 9 weeks and we really made this place our home away from home. The neighborhood was really nice and with grocerie stores, restaurants, and farmers markets close by. Public transportation was accesible as well as taxis. The owners were nice and accomodating to both our schedules and any questions that we might have had. I would specially recomend this apartment to people looking for a place for a long period of time, so they can take advantage of the neighborhood restaurants, and activities and experience San Francisco in a different light.
      Great rental!
This apt. is FANTASTIC! We stayed for 6 months and can say that we would not only recommend this place but if we ever go back to SF we will definitely try to stay there again. The apt. is actually larger than the pictures and it has all the ammenities you may need. The garden gives a very nice homey feeling which we enjoyed very much. The owners were very nice, flexible and willing to help at all times. The location could not have been better. In walking distance of a great variety of restaurants, convenient stores and public transportation to the center. Dolores park was amazing for our 2yr. old who enjoyed more than one picnic. 24th street, 15 min. walk, has all sorts of shops and restaurants plus Whole Foods. Thank you Jane & Marc.
My friends and I stayed here for a three-day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The place was very clean and we especially appreciated how all of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were neatly labeled. The location was great with lots of parking available on the street. It had a very cozy atmosphere and comfortably slept 8 people. We would absolutely stay here again!
We recently stayed in this San Francisco flat. It was everything the listing said it would be. It was fun to see what "flat" living would be like. We could not have made it without the notebook of information and the drawer of maps! Coming from Kansas we found the walk up the hill to catch the bus challenging to say the least! We had a rental car but left it parked most of the time. Everything we needed was provided. Really enjoyed having coffee for the mornings. We are finding that VRBO is the only way to go. Thanks for making our stay so great.
As others have said, the apartment was much larger than would appear from the outside. It was impeccably furnished and clean - particularly the big kitchen. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but mostly because of trying to park the massive rental car on the steep hill! We were there during peak tourist season, so the public transportation into and out of the city could get a little tight. While "Chuck's" little grocery was convenient, it was not well stocked - it was worth to walk up the steep hill to the Safeway. Amazing views anyway, so worth the hike. From there you can walk up to Twin Peaks.
We stayed here with our family for a week last september, three adults and two little kids. Everybody loved the apartment. It is spacious, exceptionally well equipped and the owners are very helpfull. The neighborhood is just perfect for a relaxed stay in SF, anything you need is within walking distance. We can't wait to come back!
This was our first time in SF and we really lucked out with this VRBO. The location is simply fabulous- away from the congestion but close to public transportation. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding this condo is filled with great stores, restaurants and character. As for the actual condo, it was even more beautiful than the pictures show. It is absolutely spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very personable and responsive. Without question, when we come back to SF, we will be sure to stay at this great find again.
We had a great stay in Noe Valey! The property was as described - very well kept, lots of amenities, basic staples, like coffee, sugar, salt etc. in the kitchen for cooking. The owners have a very comprehensive binder with helpful information which was greatly appreciated - it allowed us to explore the neighborhood, eat at local restaurants and shop at nearby stores - helped to get the pulse of the city.
Rent it! Yep it is a keeper. We were 2 adult couples (4 in total) and loved the place. Excellent location, great landlord and the place itself is very, very nice. We would not think twice about renting this space again and again. An excellent value.
Great location, excellent accommodations and a very accommodating landlord. My advice...Rent it! The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it and would rent again in a second.
We loved our stay in this rental property. It was spacious, clean, with all the amenities of home. Neighborhood breakfast/lunch cafe, restrauant/bar and grocery with local transportation all within walking distance. Great outdoor space with beautiful plants. Would highly recommend this property for your next family getaway in this nice quiet neighborhood. Only minutes from Pier 39 and other tourist attractions with your personal rental car.
We loved every moment of our stay in Mark and Jane’s flat! Beautifully appointed and spacious, it was furnished with everything we needed to feel at home – instead of tourists we felt like real San Franciscans! The flat is located in a great part of town -- quiet, offering a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city – yet close to transportation, charming boutiques, cafes, food stores, and a wide array of restaurants. And we were always able to find street side parking. We couldn’t have been happier in our “home away from home.” We would definitely stay here again!
