    Reviews

Perfect location to explore San Diego with or without a car. Garage is great- big space, easy access, but we went 10 days without a car and did fine. Bus (direct to Balboa and Airport without transfers) just a few blocks. For seniors, $1.10 to go anywhere, pay on the bus. Easy walk to theaters, groceries etc. Nice modern apartment. Clean (but far from white glove clean) but reasonable. Washer/dryer in bathroom very convenient- need to pack half as much.
We recently stayed at Pete's place and were very happy with the location and the condition of the condo. Petco park is located 3 blocks away and there are lots of places to eat and drink within just a few blocks. The assigned parking spot is great! We would definitely stay here again.
We could not have been happier with this rental. The price was much lower than comparable properties, but we found no surprises during our stay that justified that difference (thankfully!). The apartment and its furnishings are beautiful and in perfect shape. The building is dutifully maintained by the friendliest of staff. The private parking space is invaluable. The location is fabulous: Cafe Chloe, The Neighborhood, and The Gnotty Barrel are just three of the terrific places to eat or get a drink within a block of the apartment - We visited each on multiple occasions and miss them already. We were in walking distance to Ralph's grocery store (east coast folks - this is Kroger's), Gaslamp, Seaport Village, Little Italy, etc. The place was particularly perfect for us, as we had 2 adults and a 7 month old and preferred separate sleeping accommodations for all. We were able to put the baby's pack-n-play in the large bedroom closet and have one of us in the bedroom and one on the pull-out couch, so we all had doors to close. With the baby, having the dishwasher and laundry facilities in the apartment was also fantastic. Pete was incredibly responsive to my questions prior to booking as well as during our stay. I would recommend this apartment to just about any party of 1-5.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The photos and descriptions are exact. It is a very comfortable space and the bed and pillows were amazing. We stayed for nearly a week. We did not have a car for the 1st 3 days and we did great without it. Most places are less than a mile away and very easy to walk to. The area is also quite safe and very clean. My fiance was going to a conference at the downtown convention center and the walk was quite feasible. I do recommend renting a car, because there are some really amazing places to drive to. The Cabrillo National Monument is a must!
This unit was exactly what we were looking for during our San Diego visit. The location was absolutely perfect (blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter and the Harbour area). We did not rent a car during our stay and used the trolley to go to the Fashion Valley Mall - fast and an easy commute. We also took a city bus to the Zoo. Ralph's is an awesome store for all your daily grocery needs and is only a short six block walk. We would love to return to San Diego again would not hesitate to know we will be booking the same accommodation.
Overall, everything was great. We really enjoyed the balcony even though the view is of Farkas Store Fixtures (a great store to check out). It's very close to everything downtown, shopping, Padres baseball and lots of great restaurants and bars. We walked to a Dodger/Padre game and Petco Park is a blast. The San Diego trolley is just a few blocks away so you can get to most of San Diego's attractions without having to drive. The parking spot was perfect; indoors, secure and close to the elevator. If you like real coffee, you'll be disappointed as there is only a Keurig machine. We did find the cup that you can use your own coffee in, however. My only complaint is that the floors needed to be vacuumed. Everything else was clean and comfortable. This was a great place and we would stay there again.
Spacious, modern and spotless rental in the heart of downtown San Diego! We came for a long weekend and loved this place and can't wait to return!! We were able to WALK to everything...nightlife, restaurants, concerts, you name it. Make sure to grab lunch at Cafe Chloe across the street and tequila at The Blind Burro!
Excellent condo! The location, amenities and price can't be beat! Thanks Pete!
Condo was great. Very clean, updated, open plan, and nice furnituture. The location was perfect, and you can walk to everything. Will definitely be keeping this listings for future visits.
What a find! This condo worked out perfectly for us. Close to everything, but tucked away enough to be away from the noise of the nightlife. We especially enjoyed the balcony. We had our meals al fresco and soaked in the fabulous San Diego weather. Pete was extremely accommodating and available to us throughout our stay. Thanks for everything, Pete. We are counting the days until our next visit!
I found the place online and had several questions. Pete contacted me right away and was very helpful at providing me with answers for my questions. We booked our stay and it then we quickly received a confirmation and a follow up email with detailed instructions for arrival. The loft was super clean, great decor, was more spacious than we thought and was in a great location. Looking out of te balcony you could see the stadium and we were able to walk to dinner and local attractions. What a great spot and I can't wait to return. Pete made sure we got in okay and he also left some great recommendations on restaurants and more. Great service and great place! Better than a hotel!
Our vacation was wonderful. This condominium in East Village was perfect for not only the ballpark to see the Padres but also walking to the Gaslamp area. The condominium is furnished beautifully and even has a Keurig coffee machine furnished - although Starbucks is only a walk away! Even the pull out couch was comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone!
What a great place! I was fortunate to be one of the 1st guests in this lovely condo in the heart of downtown San Diego. Immaculately outfitted in sophisticated style with convenient walks to Gas Lamp district and ballpark, I would not hesitate to stay there again. The neighborhood seemed very safe, and the owner was responsive and helpful. Loved the fact the complex has a gym. Certainly a VRBO gem.
