In the heart in Rome, this splendid STUDIO is at just 300 metres from TREVI FOUNTAINS and very close to Coliseum and the Imperial Holes, Quirinale Palace, Piazza Venezia and Barberini, Piazza di Spagna e Via Condotti (with the most important fash …
We are staying at this apartment right now... The location is wonderful! Close to the train station, grocery store, restaurants and even shopping, much to my daughter's delight! We had a minor issue and the owner was very gracious and solved our issue within minutes! The owner has been very helpful, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. He has answered our MANY questions, always polite and always efficient! He even organized for a car to pick us up at the airport upon our arrival and made the required adjustments when our flight was two hours late arriving... The woman waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived was helpful and very informative.
This is only our first day here, but we would DEFINITELY recommend it to others!!! Shower is fantastic - plenty of hot water... beds are comfy, everything was exactly as we'd hoped.
THANK YOU Stefano!!!!! Anyone coming to Rome, this is the place to stay!
This place was ok. The location is near everything but not that close to any particular site. The site indicates this is a Trevi Fountain studio, however, our daily walk to Trevi was more like 15+ mins. The studio isn't actually a Trevi neighborhood studio. The grocery is around the corner and main streets for shopping are everywhere (very convenient for snacks, toiletries and water). The studio is cute and in a nice building. The kitchen is useful and compact. The bathroom is updated, nice/clean/large. The tv is comfortable and a/c is cold. There is no real closet as the makeshift closet consisted of some hangers placed where the vacuum cleaner is stored. There are no drawers, so we had to live out of our suitcases for 5 days. I don't like doing that. My main complaint is that the bed is not comfortableand the pillows/sheets are dated and rough. They should really update the comforter and sheets. I had backaches and neckaches some mornings upon awakening. The hot water lasts 5 mins. The host was nice. We saw her once and she gave us a bottle of wine. Overall, I would stay somewhere else because of the bed
We were very excited to stay at this apartment given the good reviews, however there were a few disappointments. When we arrived we were let into the apartment by a woman speaking very little English. We were able to get the general idea of things using our broken Spanish/limited Italian but were not able to ask for restaurant recommendations, etc. Also we were only supplied with one roll of toilet paper for 4 nights. When we asked about this we were directed to the market up the street to purchase more. The hot water in the shower lasts less than 10 minutes which can make showering difficult. Finally, the second day of our 4 day stay we asked for a clothes iron, were told it would be left just outside the door the next morning but never saw one.
Good points: location is within short walking distance from Termini station and even closer to the Repubblica/Opera metro station (however at least 10-15 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain). It is very spacious with plenty of room to stretch out. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances, air conditioning was nice to have on warmer days and the internet was quick.
I rented this apartment, but my time was coming when the owner sent me an email saying that the apartment was a problem of water coming from upstairs. So he gave me another option apartment in the bezzeca street. I know he has done it with others. when the trip is coming he says that there were problems with water and offers another apartment. The Bezzecca Street apartment also is very good, but not so well located as this one. I recommend Bezzecca Street apartment, but sadly I can not say the same of that apartment because of "water problems" ....
Vielen tausend dank Stefano!! Mille grazie Stefano - arrivederci Roma!!!
The Sweetsuite apartment was the perfect place to base ourselves in Rome, nestled within the walls of the city, with an easy walk to main attractions (on foot: Trevi Fountain 10mins, Colosseum 20mins) and Metro train station (on foot: Repubblica Station 5mins, Termini Station 15mins).
The owners were prompt with their emails and very helpful upon arrival at the apartment. Francesa spoke English fluently and was able to direct us to nearby facilities.
The apartment itself was spacious for two people, well presented and clean. The kitchenette was well stocked with appliances that were easy to use. The bathroom was also very spacious and modern, although the water pressure in the shower was temperamental at times. Great wireless internet connection, which was very helpful for organising our time in Rome.
The apartment was fairly easy to find, when given the directions from Stefano. The courtyard entrance into the apartment is also quite nice, adds a little culture.
We are simple people with simple means and found this apartment to be accurately described and perfect for our needs. We have recommended this property to friends and family and would certainly stay here again.
We stopped here after a cruise and only for three nights. It was a great little apartment, very clean, friendly informative host who lives next door.
Main room looks out over Via Nationale but noise is easily screened out when windows closed. Fantastic bathroom, could be in the Ritz Carlton. You can walk just about everywhere from here and only minutes from Termini Station. 10 minutes walk to Coloseum or the other way to Spanish Steps. minutes from Trevi. Nice restaurants and cafes, also a supermarket just 100m away - such convenience. Would stop here again. No good for disabled or those with mobility problems. This is very "Sweet Süite".
We actually stayed in the owners other property, WhiteRoses Studio (it can be found on www.sweetsuite.it). It is very similar to this property. WhiteRoses was in the perfect location to walk all around Rome. It is 5 minutes from the Colosseum. We walked everywhere and also used one of the tourist hop-on,hop-off buses to go to the Vatican and get a good view of Rome and a bit of history.
On the very nearby Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore there are some excellent pizzerias, cafes and gelateri's as well as a supermarket. The studio is very large, with sky tv and the best part is the small terrace where the sun sets over giving you a wonderful picture across Rome. It has all the amenities you would need with a large bathroom as well.
The area felt very safe and with the studio being on the 7th floor (there is a lift), it was a very safe place to stay.
Stefano, the owner, was very helpful and very relaxed. We would really recommend this studio for anyone wanting to visit Rome on a smallish budget, wants the freedom of self-cetering and be very close to all the main attractions.
we have just returned home from a weeks stay in the apartment ...... it was lovely the apartment was light spacious and airy, it was spotlessly clean and everything you would need. It was within walking distance to most of the main attractions and the hop on hop bus was just around the corner which was fantastic to see all the sights. stefano was fantastic and very helpful he greeted us at the apartment and was always on hand to help out if needed thank you stefano our stay fantastic sorry we didnt get to say goodbye so il say it now "goodbye" x
We spent 5 nights in the apartment on Largo Brancaccio, fist floor. It was close to the metro stations, and we could walk to the Colosseum easily. The city center is close, we used bus or metro to get into the city, it was easy and cheap. The room was nice and clean, has everything that we need. There are shops and restaurants around (unfortunately we did not try any).
We arrived earlier on the first day and had to leave early in the morning on our last day - it was no problem, thanks to Stefano for being flexible.
I recommend this apartment to everyone.
