The lovely, stunning Minerva Apartment sleeps 5 people per night and is a spacious 80 m2 (861 s.ft) two bedroom flat with top amenities, and custom design, located within the walls of old Rome, halfway between the Colosseum and the Termini train station, in the safe, residential central-east Esquilino quarter, on Via Principe Eugenio, with many stores, restaurants, markets, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants nearby and excellent transport, also within walking distance of all, as in Rome one does a lot of walking everywhere. There is a large master bedroom with custom closets and bed with a very comfortable latex double mattress for two, antiques, closets, A/C,5-speed ceiling fan, bookshelves and books and balcony for a view of the Tivoli Hills in the distance and of the street below, smoking allowed on balconies only.There is a large second bedroom that can sleep up to three people, in three singles or a double and a single, with a large dresser, nightstands, an entertainment center with a flat screen sat tv, dvd player, dvd's , cd's , cassettes, stereo, and bookshelves with books and tourist guides and another nice balcony with plants and great view.There is all an international traveler needs to feel at home. The large bath has double sinks, a jacuzzi jetted bathtub, monsoon shower, and a movable telephone shower-head, a washer, and a hanging toilet and bidet, cabinets for linens, soaps and toiletries a lighted mirror and ceiling fan. The hall has a custom china cabinet, mirrors, fireextinguisher and art work, and tourist flyers, besides books and maps, the cozy tv lounge has a second flat screen sat tv, a sofa with cushions, a free phone for national and local calls ( use your mobile phone or skype on your pc or calling cards for international calls and cell phone calls), A/C, a 5-speed ceiling fan , bookshelves and books and magazines and special top-level security door to make the whole apartment like a big safe. There is good transport directly below the house and very nearby are buses, trams and 2 main A-line subway stops.There is a well-stocked supermarket on the corner, a farmer's market four blocks away, good shopping in the zone with a department store, a city park, parking garages, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, even ancient Roman ruins at 400 m on our same street, with the Porta Maggiore Roman City Gate, with the ancient ruins of the Baker's Tomb, the Giulia Acqueduct and the Roman Nymphaeum. There once was a temple of Minerva in the ancient Esquilino quarter which has not yet been found and Minerva is also the symbol of La Sapienza University of Rome, five minutes away. Payment is cash payment during check-in, we are not set up for credit cards. The property is run by a licensed Tour Manager and her husband , who will introduce you to how to work the appliances in the flat, will show city transport on a Rome map and answer all your questions during check-in, check-in time after 2pm or as arranged and check-out at 9 am or as arranged. Extra fees:There is 1 e. charge for each extra towel used and a 40 euro final cleaning fee and since we are a registered and licensed vacation rental, there is the obligatory Rome Occupancy Tax, of 2 euros per person per night, for up to 10 nights, minors under age 10 exempt.
