Perfect Little Nest in the Heart of Montmartre Wifi Phone
Welcome on the « Butte Montmartre », in a district of painters and poets. You will be charmed by your stay to the heart of a mythical site, just a step from the mill of the pancake, between the street Lepic and the street of Abbesses. Situated in …
This is a very charming apartment in the heart of Montmartre. All amenities were included. Claire is very organized and helpful. I would recommend it to all. BRAVO!!!
Beautiful apartment with washer/dryer combo as we were familiar with from England and Germany. Lovely area. A lively area that could be noisy( for others) with windows open but did not bother us. We enjoyed the area and the people moving about. moulin de la galette restaurant about 2 blocks up the hill from apartment. This restaurant we had enjoyed from last trip to Paris. Forgot that first level is ground floor not first so had to go up one more level. Did not have my European brain in gear. Would not be good for someone with problems with stairs but great for exercise. Loved this apartment. A bientot, Claire !
First of all, the location of this flat was perfect. It was super easy to access from the train station using the metro, and ideally located near a central metro stop. The neighborhood is one of my most favorite areas in Paris--where Picasso, Renoir, Van Gogh all made their homes at one point. It also hosts some incredible historical places such as the Moulin Rouge and an original first hill windmill that also houses a Michelin star restaurant. There are many shops, boutiques, antique and vintage stores, and cafes not to mention some excellent markets. My husband and I made this a stop on our honeymoon and we genuinely felt like we were living in Paris. The kitchen was stocked well and easy to use, so we made use of the markets and cooked most of our meals here. Further, we felt comfortable and felt as if anything we could possibly need was right at our fingertips thanks to Claire's precise planning: maps, umbrellas, laundry soap, travel books--you name it--she had it for us! The internet was great, and so was the laundy (a perfect stop for the middle of a long traveling term). Claire and Clara were super helpful and friendly--such great hospitality! The building is charming and oh so Parisian. The flat is small, but bigger than most Paris hotel rooms. We absolutely LOVED this place and we can't wait to come back. We are telling all of our friends and family. We consider ourselves truly lucky and blessed to have stayed here.
Le studio est très propre, bien rénové. La propriétaire est très gentille a arrangé de très bonnes conditions pour le séjour.
A lovely little apartment in the 18th, just around the corner from Abbesses (so a quick ride on the metro to anywhere in Paris). All the benefits of an authentic Parisian neighborhood, with the beauty of the Sacre Coeur quartier, and easy access to the entire city. The apartment is clean, bright, and just the right size. Thanks to Claire for being a gracious and welcoming hostess. We hope to return soon!
I think that most studios in Paris (at this price point) are small, and this one is no exception. However, it is extremely well designed and equipped, and a very comfortable sanctuary. Everything that is listed is there, and working. It was great to have a washer/dryer, and the bathroom shower was a real treat.
The owner/landlady was very helpful, friendly, and constitutes an un-advertised bonus. She recommended local stores, restaurants, etc (the studio also has a book with names, addresses, maps of the neighborhood, as well as instructions for major appliances). The nearest Metro station is only a few hundred meters away. In short, I highly recommend this accommodation.
We were all over Europe for a month and Claire was the nicest host we encountered. Very friendly, helped with getting familiar with the city. The studio apartment was on a quiet street with no cars. A 5 minute walk to the famous church and Moulin Rouge. We had a wonderful time. Thank you
Perfect set up in Paris. Great little apt! Nice kitchen and bath and wonderful proprietor. The apt was spotless. Best for late night people as there are lively folks enjoying themselves at the restaurants on the corner.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Claire's studio last week for three nights and absolutely loved our stay! Claire was an amazing hostess. She was so easy to communicate with, met us at the studio upon our arrival with so much warmth and kindness, and had plenty of helpful suggestions. The studio is small, but really has everything you could possibly want, including a wash machine! Everything worked well and seemed very up-to-date. But the best part of this studio is it's location! Montmatre is a fantastic neighborhood - classic Paris - and the studio is in the very heart of it. It's within a couple minute walk to public transportation to take you to all of the sights, plenty of great restaurants, bakeries, artists, and shopping. We would stay here again without question. Thank you Claire!
We had a wonderful stay here while we were in Paris. The host is very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The amenities are everything you could ask for as there was wifi, phone, and most importantly a wash and dryer. The phone is very important for us international travelers as it is very difficult to get into a good restaurant without reservation. The place is also very clean. The area in Montmartre is very nice and close to a lot of restaurant and nightlife. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Also the place is about a 5 minute walk to the Abysss Metro station which makes it very easy to go around in Paris.
My partner and myself found this neat little studio at Montmartre very pleasant to stay in, The accommodation was very comfortable and well equiped. Claire, the owner was so helpful offering information about the surrounding area, transport, cafes and restaurants to eat in and there was nothing too much trouble to her. The restaurants recommended by Claire were very suitable and within easy access. There is plenty to see in Montmartre district and yet by nearby metro one can visit central Paris in a short time. If we visit Paris again in the future I would be happy to stay here again as it is a great location and the studio is so suitable for a couple.
My stay at this Montmartre studio has been wonderful! Firstly, Claire, my incredibly gracious host, welcomed me with warmth and kindness and a hot cup of coffee and pastries. (It's the little things.) She gave me invaluable tips on how to get around Paris by bus and metro. She spent the time and energy in putting a very detailed booklet together about the transit here, the local market where you can purchase groceries, instructions on how to use everything in the studio (I.e. washer/dryer, microwave, etc.) and the local restaurants. I could tell that the guest's comfort and enjoyment are first and foremost for her. She is the dream host - she communicates well and responds quickly. Secondly, the studio is a little gem, full of every comfort. It is very clean and quiet. I slept soundly from my first night on. I mentioned the washer/dryer - it has been such a luxury to have clean clothing throughout my trip. The studio is well-situated in the Montmartre area near charming restaurants and shops, and not very far from Sacre Coeur. And very close by are two metro stations. Montmartre in my view is probably the most charming area of Paris - full of small winding cobble stone streets - exactly what you imagine Paris to be. It is also extremely safe to walk around at night. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the studio and the lovely Claire!
My wife and I stayed at Claire's flat for one week. By American standards it is small, but all you need in Paris is a place to lay your head and works fine for two people. The apartment has all sorts of things you need and we didn't need to buy anything extra for the week. It is in a charming 200 year old building with a nice view of the eiffel tower at night from the top floor. The best part though, is that the apartment is owned by the nicest woman in France. Claire alleviated all our fears of travelling abroad and was very helpful. If we are fortunate enough to return, we would stay again.
