4 people apartment - Rue Saint Honoré - Paris 1st
In a historical building in the heart of Paris, you will be staying in an formerly jewelery workshop transformed, as a jewel box, in a luxury and very comfortable apartment.
On the 2nd floor of the house, where lived the famous French revolutiona …
My husband and I recieved 5 nights accommodation at this apartment as a wedding present from our bridal party! We couldn't have been more spoilt! The apartment was amazing and in the best location.
Lucile met us on arrival to give us the keys and show us around. She was so thorough and left us lots of useful information on the closest supermarkets, metro stations etc.
The apartment was incredibly well equipt and had everything we could possibly need, including a washing machine which came in very handy as we had been travelling for a few weeks. There was even a number of blu ray DVDs for us to watch, all with a Paris theme and available in English. It was a very cute touch, and we enjoyed watching them on our quiet nights in after site seeing all day.
The apartment was a great size, and very modern. Everything was exceptionally clean and we felt very safe in the secure apartment block. There was a full kitchen which was great for making breakfast and dinners when we felt like staying in, and it was very well equipt.
There is an incredible pattiserie right next door which we made use of every day, and there are amazing shops and restaurants right where the apartment is (although VERY expensive!) Rue Saint Honore is known as an amazing shopping strip, so it made great window shopping.
The apartment is also very close to two metro stations - Madeline and Concord - which made it super easy to get around. It is located in Paris 1st which is also very close to everything amazing in Paris, so we didnt have to travel far no matter what we wanted to see.
As we were there at the beginning of January all of the streets close by were still lit up with christmas lights. It was so beautiful and it felt very festival even in the cold weather.
We will definitely be returning to this apartment if we come back to Paris. We could not fault it!
Thank you for the incredible stay!

The apartment is very comfortable and in a great location! The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this rental.
I was very apprehensive about renting directly from an owner rather than going thru a rental agency - or renting a room in a hotel. I was extremely pleased with the entire rental process. Lucile was very responsive answering all of my questions promptly. I was also nervous about having to pay 30% to secure the reservation and then the balance a week before arrival. Using Homeaway's "paypal" link made me feel comfortable considering their insurance against any fraud.
Arnaud met us at the apartment and gave us a good overview of the apartment and amenities. He also checked us out on our day of departure. Very professional and helpful - answered all of our questions about the apartment and local area.
The description and the pictures accurately depict the clean, modern, recently renovated, well appointed apartment that it is. The ONLY issues (not big ones) - the pictures do make the rooms look a bit bigger than reality. Also, the stairwell leading to the apartment could use a little paint to refresh and additional lighting.
The location is on Rue Saint Honore - a high end shopping street right above a bakery. It was nice to go down every morning for croissants! The negative is that you can hear them very early (5:00 AM) in the morning getting ready.
At night the area was very quiet when the stores were closed. If you are looking for lots of activity - night life, restaurants and bakeries - this may not be for you. It was perfect for us - just what I wanted.. We were within easy walking distance to the Concorde and Madeleine metros. We walked to the Lourve, Opera House, Tuileries Garden, Seine riverbank. We also walked the Champs-Elysees to the Arch - perhaps a bit too far for some, so not for everyone.
We were very lucky in that we were there from August 12 - 19 and the weather was beautiful - not too hot. The apartment does not have air conditioning - just a fan. This was OK for us, however, if it were a bit hotter, it may have been too hot in the apartment.
I would recommend this apartment as a very nice alternative to a hotel - much more comfortable. We were a family of four. My husband and I occupied the one bedroom and my two sons (17 and 13) slept on the sofa bed. They were comfortable even though one is 6'4" and the other 5'4".
I already have recommended the apartment to family and friends.
Thank you Lucile and Arnaud for making our stay in Paris memorable!
This apartment was nicely furnished and very clean.
Felt like being at home while on vacation in Paris.
The owner is very eager to assist anyway she can to make your stay a memorable one.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who otherwise would be thinking a hotel.
The location is ideal and the comfort is so much better than a hotel.
Not to mention the cost is similar or less then a hotel with 5X the amount of space.
I love it

The apartment was everything we hoped for our first visit to Paris. The description is accurate in every way and the owner provided great customer service.
The location is perfect since it is centralized to all the neighborhoods and very convenient to the metro stations.
Sidewalk cafes, elegant restaurants and fabulous shopping sites are all steps away from the front door. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and relatives since all the amenities make it better than staying in a hotel.
This was my first time to rent an apartment as part of a vacation and it was a very satisfying experience.
The apartment was superb! We felt like home, it has all the appliances you may need, very clean, and the best of all was the location, location, location!
Lucile was great and Arnaud was very helpful! I would recomend this apartment to everyone!
We already miss Paris!
We rented both apartments for our 6 nights in Paris. My husband and I stayed in one and our 2 grown sons stayed in the other. We were very happy with our choice. The apartment was centrally located, and easy walk to most of the sights. It was very close to the Metro was o getting around was so easy. There were many cafes, bakeries and shops around. We felt very safe and were very comfortable in the apartment. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay in Les Ecrins. There is everything you need to make you feel right at home. I love the location. Two metro stops near by, bakery on the fist floor, and lots of boutiques for high end shopping. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, cozy and comfortable place to stay.
When we began planning our latest trip to Paris the holiday was all about the time we could spend with our Paris born granddaughter who would be on school holiday.
That is when we began our search for an apartment in the first arrondissement where she resides.
HomeAway offered many choices, but this one jumped out at us. The pictures did tell the story. The owner was charming and helpful and met us when we arrived. The unit was new and modern and the location the very best and right out the
front door....a wonderful Boulangerie. Shops, restaurants and the historical
sights that make Paris PARIS were minutes by foot. We dined in and out and every
day walked for hours trying to take in all the sights. We loved coming back to our fashionable flat after our outings....pretending it was ours....
We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to be in the right area,
for all the right reasons. Paris was at its best as was our HOMEAWAY stay. Kudos
to the owner for her stylish taste. We are already planning our next visit next year.

My daughter and I had a wonderful week in this superb apartment. It is beautifully fitted and equipped to the highest standard, and everything has been thought of. The owner Lucile is extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant/deli on the ground floor is very useful too - high quality food, including takeaway, and open until 10 pm. The location of the apartment is excellent, within walking distance of all the main attractions of Paris - the only time we used transport was the train to Versailles - and sitting outside at a restaurant in the Tuileries Gardens on the last night simultaneously watching the Eiffel Tower with flashiing lights, and the illuminated Louvre pyramid was something I will never forget.
