123 Luxembourg Gardens Two Bedroom Splendor
Located only a few feet from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, this Paris rental apartment is within close walking distance of St. Sulpice, St. Germain des Prés, and Montparnasse. This is a very upscale residential section of Paris’ historic Left Bank in 6 th Arrondissement where the Last Tango in Paris was filmed. It is ideally situated for many of the Left Bank attractions.Facing the courtyard, this 5 th European floor apartment is joyfully bright, sunny and very quiet. Large and well decorated, with two bedrooms, the apartment is 67 m 2 in size (@720 ft 2 ). It has an enclosed kitchen, large living room space, with good size windows for lots of light all day long. There's even air conditioning for the warmer days in summer, along with a full bath and shower, plus a separate WC. The newly renovated building is quite handsome and well kept, featuring a cage enclosed wooden elevator, and a concierge.
The apartment is just a 2-minute walk from the gates of the Luxembourg Gardens. In case you don’t know it, besides its beautiful trees, flower beds, vistas and fountains, the “Luxembourg” also features an expansive playground for toddlers and kids with lots of outdoor facilities including swings, climbing areas, ‘soft-ground area’ plus puppet shows, sailboats to push in the ponds and even ponies to ride! There are paths to jog on, basketball and tennis courts, and for a slower more serious pace the French ‘boules’ or pétanque. Many people take in a summer band session under the gazebo … or you can just sit and people watch, like the French do!
Rue Vavin is a great street with several 'must have' shops, like the famous chocolatier Jean-Paul Hevin (perhaps the best chocolates in Paris, if not the world), along with bakeries and cafes. The apartment is very quiet due to its ‘off the street’ exposure onto a quiet courtyard. It has a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. A comfortable sofa sleeper in the living room can accommodate a child but the total may not exceed 4 persons.
In this apartment you will be in the best of two worlds on the Left Bank…living in an authentic Parisian neighborhood near a very beautiful garden, yet only a short walk away from the tourist attractions of St. Germain des Prés and Montparnasse.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 persons in three beds including one queen bed and two twin beds.

The thick crowds that flock to the Place des Vosges rarely venture to the other side of the Marais: the 3e arrondissement, which has morphed into one of the hottest neighborhoods in Paris. You can enjoy this trendy quartier like a local. First, head to the Rue de Bretagne, the main drag. Stop for lunch at one of the food stalls in the Marché des Enfants Rouges (No. 39, open Tuesday through Sunday): it's the oldest covered market in Paris. Next, explore narrow side streets, like Rues Charlot, Debelleyme, and Poitou, lined with art galleries and small boutiques. Stop for a real English scone at the Marais outpost of the popular Rose Bakery (30 rue Debelleyme); try a cup of Joe and a croissant at Poilâne (38 rue Debelleyme); or treat yourself to a gelato at Mary's (1 rue Charles-Francois Dupuis). Across the street is the 19th-century iron-and-glass Carreau du Temple, which, after a long overdue renovation, is scheduled to reopen as a locally-driven arts and sports community center. This is the site of the former Templar Tower, where Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette were imprisoned before the king's date with the guillotine (Napoléon later razed it). For your evening aperitif, make a beeline for the buzzy Café Charlot, at 38 rue de Bretagne. If you're in the mood for couscous, try Chez Omar, a neighborhood institution at No. 27.This lovely studio is full of charm, elegance and comfort.
Located in the heart of the Marais only minutes from the Pace des Vosges and the nightly life of Paris, this studio sleeps 4 comfortably. There is a queen sized bed on the loft , and a queen sized sofa bed on the lower level.
