Before booking, please send us a message so we can get to know you!

We've got an extra room in our loft while I'm away. The loft itself is located off the Jefferson L stop in Bushwick. The room is an 10'-0" x 12'-0" (12'-0" tall ceiling) room with a low lofted sleeping area that measures 6'-9" x 5'-3" giving you a total of 156 square feet of living space. In it there is a bed, a dresser, a rack for hanging clothes, and a small ladder to climb up to the sleeping area. Up on the sleeping area, you'll find a place to plug in whatever you need to charge (there's power underneath the loft as well). There is a tall rectangular window that opens out into the kitchen/common area, and if you have that open during the day, the room is insanely bright from all the light that comes in through the windows. If you feel like sleeping in, though, the room is pitch black with the door and the panel closed.

You'll get free wifi, and there will be a TV, although we haven't decided if there will be cable TV or not. But why watch TV when you're visiting? Better to get out and go experience the town! You'll get clean sheets, a clean towel (no need to bring any of that on your own) a clean bathroom and living space, and you can look forward to at least one home-cooked dinner from one, two or all of the roommates! There will be space in the fridge for you if you need it, as well as your own space on the shelf in the bathroom. You'll also have use of a road bike if you would like to free of charge! We're all pretty excited about being able to host lots of people, and entertain as well.

We LOVE to get to know our guests! We even provide a home-cooked meal! We'll give you all the information you need, as well as grab a drink or coffee if we have the time.

The area is up-and-coming with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants already in the area, and more popping up all the time. There is a large living room/open-kitchen with one wall made entirely of windows. The entire place gets a lot of light which is amazing.
The loft is only about 20 minutes away from Manhattan, and about 15 minutes from Williamsburg. As for parking, there's street parking available, and it's relatively easy to get a parking spot on any given day. I know what people say about Bushwick, but in the north part of Bushwick, it's very safe, and super convenient to get around.

We try to make sure our guests are comfortable, and try to be available to them for any questions. Want us to take you to our favorite bar, or burger restaurant? No problem! Want some more time to yourself to explore and discover the city? That's cool too! We're putting together a notebook of our recommendations for the city, which we would love it if you added an entry to as well!

We're all working professionals. Artists of all kinds, but don't get the wrong idea about us. We're serious about work, and cleanliness, about travel, and eating well, and having an all around good time.

We welcome people from all over the world! We also speak a bit of German, Spanish and Korean and would love the opportunity to learn other languages!

House Rules:

No shoes in the apartment:
Please don't wear shoes in the apartment. We try very hard to keep the entire place clean. When you walk through the door, please take your shoes off.

Clean up after yourself:
Similar to the above rule, we really try to keep the apartment clean. The people who stay with us should be willing to clean up after themselves. We're not maids, and not a personal cleaning service. We all make a mess from time to time, but then we do our best to clean up after ourselves. You should too.

Try to be courteous to us and to the neighbors:
When staying with us, you'll find that our neighbors are all super-friendly, and we'd like to keep it that way. The building is a fantastic mixture of quiet and upbeat. When we first moved into the apartment, we met 16 people in the course of the first two days! We want to make sure that we're courteous to all of our neighbors and respect them, the way we expect to be respected. That means incredibly loud music after hours, ESPECIALLY on weeknights. If you get back late, try to be relatively quiet so as not to disturb the neighbors, and if we're sleeping, try not to wake us up as well! Don't feel like you have to creep around like a mouse, and don't feel like you can't get up to get that glass of water you might need. Just try to be respectful. We'll do the same for you.

No smoking in the apartment:
I think this can be left further unexplained. If you need to smoke, unfortunately the roof is no longer accessible, but you can walk down the hallway and smoke out one of the windows in one of the staircases (one of them has fantastic Manhattan views!), or walk down to the sidewalk. It's really not that far.

No pets in the apartment:
While we love animals, please don't bring your pet to stay with us! Of course service animals (assistance for the blind, etc.) are an exception.

Lock both top and bottom locks:
When you leave the apartment, even if for only to run to a nearby store (leave the building, not just for a smoke), we ask that you lock both the lock on the handle and the deadbolt. It's just our habit, and we ask that you maintain it as well.

Have fun!
You're on vacation! You're visiting New York! Get out, enjoy the city! Have fun while you're here. We'll try to take the hassle out of where you're spending your nights. You get out and try to have a good time.

Available for short term stay is ONE of three separate small private rooms, each about 90 SF, with full bed mattresses lofted above the floor with some short steps up. There is a roof with some chairs and a good view of the Manhattan skyline.

It's very near delis, fun bars, really great restaurants, awesome pizza, a nice cafe, 15 minute walk or 5 minute b24 bus ride to the Graham L subway stop and 15 minute walk to the Nassau G, and 30 minutes total travel time to Union Square. That is a central subway hub. From there you can get to Times Square, Grand Central, Chinatown, and Wall Street area in 5-10 minutes, or the major museums in 15 minutes.

It is a 15-20 minute walk to Williamsburg, a very nice Brooklyn area with many great shops, restaurants, bars and a huge music scene. There are free transfers between the buses and trains. Also it's right off the Morgan exit of the BQE/395, which makes it a 10 minute, $20 dollar cab ride from LaGuardia and 20 minute $40 ride from JFK.

This is in a big 1,200 SF loft with 12 Foot ceilings, hard wood floors, fridge, microwave, shower(shared, across the hall, through my kitchen), 2 half bathrooms, a couch, recliner, kitchen table, two computers, and wifi. There's a lot of big windows, and great light during the day! I'll provide clean sheets and towels.

The space is a converted warehouse space with rooms built out above a hardware store and next to a gas station. It's pretty quiet other than the constant whooshing of the highway nearby, which is not an issue for most people. It's kind of like the ocean waves! When the windows are all closed, it's hardly noticeable. The rooms do not lock, but the apartment itself is behind a series of three locked doors.

It's right across the street from a nice residential neighborhood with all your needs.

Sometimes there's band practice or recording across the hall, but it's rarely noticeable in the bedrooms, and not very loud in the living room.

There's a full fridge, a double hotplate, a toaster oven, pots and pans, and salt and pepper for all your basic cooking needs.

There's also a teapot and tea, and a coffee machine and coffee, for your morning rituals.

There is a TV and a projector to watch movies on VHS, Blu-Ray, DVD, and Netflix! I have a pretty big and varied collection. Also I have a nice record player, and a pretty good collection of Records and CDs. There's an input to connect your iPod or other MP3 player to. There's a piano to play also, if you're so musically inclined!

I live in the building, so I'll be around pretty often if you need anything.

There are no animals here, but some pets may be OK for a few days.

Parking is plentiful, right in front, safe and free.

Available by the day, week or month for a couple months. If your dates don't look available on the calender, please inquire, as I have multiple rooms, and this system is sometimes inaccurate. Please read and follow the rules. Hope to talk soon!
