New studio Apt with marble floors

    New York City

    Description

We are renting a completely private 1st floor studio apartment in our home. The apartment has a private entrance in the front of the house. There is a private bathroom and a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink (there is not a stove however many restaurants are near by and deliver). The studio comes with internet, cable TV and and an iPod docking station. There are marble floors with a decorative fireplace. There are two beds — one single bed and the other is a single trundle bed (which means it pulls out from the bottom of the first bed). So one bed is lower than the other bed. There are two large windows that face the street with lots of sunlight. We provide towels, dishes and an iron with ironing board.

Transportation:
Our subways are the L and M trains to Myrtle Wykoff station, or J to Gates Ave Street station. Both stations are parallel to the house, and are about a 7 to 10 minute walk in a moderate pace. It is a 20 minute ride to 14th street in manhattan. It is about a $25.00 cab/car ride to JFK, LaGuardia and downtown manhattan. The B52 and B26 buses are just a couple of blocks away.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a new, beautiful, clean, safe, affordable studio apartment close to Manhattan, Fort Green and Williamsburg. We are located in the middle of Bushwick.

This is a no smoking studio.

Great place to stay in Brooklyn! Everything looks exactly like the photos so there are no bad surprises! Comfortable studio, good size for one or 2 people. I didnt get to meet the hosts in person cause they were outside the country but they worked everything perfectly with me through email. Anyways, only nice things to say about them!
Very nice and clean place, very very nice neighboors. thks
Amazing apartment, best hosts you could ever find and a colorful neighborhood. Subway is close and easy to find. Hosts were super friendly and gave tons of great tips where to go and what to see. We'll recommend this to everyone!
Perfect for the price! There were greats host! Thanks for everything!
Franck and Joshua were great, friendly hosts!! Their studio was found spotless upon our arrival. The place is cozy, comfortable and has all the necessities you need for your stay. It's a great place to stay outside of the city, with easy access to transit and great options for restaurants nearby. Would definitely reccomend their studio!

      Room/Share #2
This room for rent is found in a shared four-bedroom townhouse apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant, on Reid Avenue and Putnam Avenue in Brooklyn. The room is on the 2nd floor of a 4-story walk-up building located on a street corner-making it very bright, as the sunlight shines through from both the North and the East. You will conveniently find a commercial laundromat on the ground level of this building. The room has one window with views to the intersection of the two avenues, high ceilings, rich stone tile flooring-for easy clean up, and a functional layout. It is equipped with adequate closet space and is furnished with contemporary pieces, among them a queen-size platform bed and a dresser, cable TV and a small dining table with two stools. Keep in mind that the kitchen and bathroom are shared, which will give you the opportunity to interact more and get to know your roommates better. The kitchen is also fully equipped and painted in a cheerful yellow, and the full bathroom features modern, marble-lined tile walls; there is also an additional half bath to share amongst the roommates.
The room for rent is well situated in the Bedford-Stuyvesant-Crown Heights area in central Brooklyn, New York. You will enjoy taking a stroll through the streets in this neighborhood, which are lined with many historic townhouses and brownstones, and have a lot of character. If you wish to stay in the area, there is a combination of acclaimed local eateries. You can grab a burger at Crave (5 blocks), which only uses fresh and local ingredients, or if you're feeling indulgent, head to Peaches Market, well-known for their brunch (7 blocks). For grocery shopping, stop by Key Food, which is just across the street. Another Brooklyn attraction is Prospect Park (6 subway stops). There are numerous notable natives and residents of this area, many in the entertainment industry, like Lil'Kim, Jay-Z, Nora Jones, Chris Rock, Vanessa Williams, and Tracey Morgan, among others. Adjacent neighborhoods include Fort Greene, Williamsburg, and Bushwick. New York City has so much to offer that you'll probably want to explore the other boroughs as well. You will appreciate that public transportation is readily accessible from your shared apartment. The nearest subway station-Gates Avenue / Broadway (J and Z trains)- is only 6 blocks away. Or you can head to the Utica Avenue / Fulton station (10 blocks), where you can catch the A and C trains-both local and express. The A train will take you to Manhattan in as few as 5 stops, and the J train in 9; both of these options will have you in downtown Brooklyn or downtown Manhattan relatively quickly! Cable television and wireless internet are available free of charge.
