Getting to our Home:
      From JFK-
1.)A taxi is a flat fee of $45 from JFK to anywhere.

2.) Super Shuttle which will be $23 for the first person and $10 for each additional person in your party.

3.)The final method (the cheapest but the most exhausting) is the subway.
You can take the A train from JFK to 59th street Columbus Circle and then transfer to the 2 or 3 express train taking that to 116th street stop. To take the subway you must first purchase a tram ticket at the airport for $5 and then a metro card for the subway which is $2.25 per ride.

The Fastest method will be a cab which will take about 30-45 minutes.
Other modes will take about 1-2 hours.

      From Laguardia:
1.)Taxi Cab- will cost approximately $30 (which includes tax, toll and tip)

2.)The M60 bus will pick you up outside of baggage claim and drop you off at 125 street and Lenox.
Be sure you have EXACT change of $2.25.
      [1 hour]

      During Your Stay in NYC:

I advise my guests to purchase an unlimited ride metro card, as this will be the most cost-effective method of transportation.
Unlimited MetroCard give you unlimited ride of New York City Subway, Buses.

7-Day Unlimited (A week long pass) is $29.

      30-Day Unlimited $104

A one day "fun pass" is $8.25 (for those visiting for 3 days or less)

West Inn 2 - East Village
There is a new bed and the room was just freshly painted. After you read this, please check out my BEST WESTON listing for pictures of the building, courtyard and awesome roof deck!

This is for private use of the master bedroom (approx 18 x 14) in a 2 BR (occasionally 3 BR) apt in the East Village which is perfect for a single or couple, who want to stay in a clean apartment and experience living in a great neighborhood in NYC. All while saving a few bucks from pricey NYC hotels that are usually located in tourist trap areas. It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer, like the outdoor patio right outside the bedroom! The building also has a 24 hour doorman / security, gym, laundry room and killer roof deck with views of ALL NYC and bridges.

This option is a shared space with myself (separate bedroom) and occasionally another traveler(s) if the 3rd bedroom is occupied by other travelers choosing the West Inn listing. This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. There are about 100 restaurants, bars and shops all within 3 blocks in any direction! This city never sleeps and you shouldn't be sleeping your vacation away!

I'm the type to vacate the premises when guests are here and usually just come home to sleep or do some computer work. I work, play and stay on Long Island frequently. If there is another traveler in the 3rd bedroom, they can be different for each time. But on average, everybody is always out touristing!

The price is $ 115/night (if your stay is less than 4 nights, it's $125 per night on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If your stay is 7+ nights, it's $ 700 per week. There is also a $ 25 cleaning charge. If your stay is 10+ days, you will be required to pay $ 25 to house cleaner who will come after 7 days.

If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the basement of the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well.

This does NOT have a full kitchen. There is a small fridge, microwave, and hot plate to do a little cooking/heating up food.

This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your "home away from home" will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), a private outdoor patio with table and chairs, huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 100 restaurant/bars/cafes/shops within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east.

For an additional fee, I can act as chauffeur to pick-up/drop off @ airport, take you to attractions in NYC, on Long Island, Catskills, Hamptons, etc.). I can serve as your personal tour guide to all the tourist attractions, as well as to the cool, not-in-the-guide-books places for nightlife or dinner.

ADDITIONAL INFO / CHARGES:

For stays of more than 7 nights, a small deposit will be required pending on length of requested stay.

The room is for a single person or couple for the room. If you have another guest, it's $20 per night, per person. There is an aero bed for extra person/couple in addition to the full bed in the bedroom.

Cleaning charges: As long as there isn't any excessive cleaning that is necessary, there is no charge.

Linens: Clean when you arrive. If you wish to clean WHILE you are here, there is a laundry room in the basement to do yourself.

Towels: One clean bath towel and washcloth per day per person. Used towels will be collected and washed every 2-3 days.

Continental Breakfast: Included. Juice, Milk, Coffee, Tea, Fruits, Pastries or Bagels or Cereal.
