Ana was a friendly host. We could have done wuth a bit more detail about the area, as we were unsure of which directions we should go, got a bit lost on one occassion. The address is described above as Central Harlem/Morningside, don't think this is correct. The apartment is fine, seems to be a "work in progress" with some of the fittings etc. and we got the impression that it was the "family home" with the kids toys and some of the stuff there. I was uncomfortable with the building, which was a bit intimidating at the entry, with some unusual odours and a bit noisy at night. The elevator wasn't moving when we returned a couple of times, which was a problem for my wife climbing the stairs. We had no problem with anyone in the area/building but were a bit wary. We moved for the last night to a hotel in Manhattan, as we felt the travel was a bit too far to get back and forth to Manhattan. All in all it was ok, but not really what i was expecting.

      BEST MANHATTAN VIEW!!!!
Fantastic 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, private terrace, laundry in the apartment, elevator, 24 hours doorman, security, gym, excellent view of Manhattan, a 15 minutes commute by subway. 3 stops to downtown Manhattan. Water taxi entrance at the back of the building, very convenient way to cross the island.

The apartment is just per 5 passenger, it is not possible to add more passenger, it counts with one queen bed in each room, and a sofa in the living room per just one person. The view of Manhattan is spectacular. The private terrace is a unique out door space.

There is a supermarket on the corner of Kent avenue and Broadway, that makes very convenient. Along Broadway there are many restaurants and cafes per breakfast; and most of them will delivered in the case you like to stay home.

The water Taxi is just downstairs, and per 9 dollars will bring you to 34th street and 1st Avenue in just 8 minutes. Also a minibus each 15 minutes to avoid walk to the subway per just 2 dollars, will bring you to the subway stations, is 2 stops to get to Manhattan.
