    <span>A spacious apartment for up to four people in a three-story brownstone with original details from the late 1800s. The apartment is on the garden floor, with one master bedroom in the front and a den at the back. The den is equipped with a pull-out sofa (with added mattress for comfort) that sleeps two. The apartment has garden access. Fresh towels and sheets are provided.</span><br /><br /><span>Located on a quiet, tree lined block in historic Stuyvesant Heights, our house is close to the subway (a pleasant 5-10 minute walk) and a block away from Peaches and Saraghina, two cozy neighborhood spots.</span><br /><br /><span>Laundry can be done or dropped off at the nearby laundromat, 5 mn away.</span><br /><br /><span>The apartment includes a full bathroom with cabinet space and a hair dryer, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.</span><br /><br /><span>Note: Smoking is not allowed inside the house.&nbsp;</span><br /><span>We accept pets on a case per case basis.</span><br /><br /><span>We are on the blue subway line (A-express and C-local)</span><br /><br /><span>- 20 minutes by subway to lower Manhattan (less than 30 min to midtown)</span><br /><br /><span>- Short subway or bus rides to Prospect Park, Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights and Fort Greene, with access to the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical gardens</span><br /><br /><span>- 20 minute drive to JFK airport (or 20 mn subway ride to JFK Air Train) — 20 minute drive to La Guardia airport</span><br /><br /><span>Our neighborhood, Stuyvesant Heights, is a residential district that was mostly built in the 1880s and 1890s and is home to some of Brooklyn's most historic and impressive brownstones.</span><br /><br />


      We stayed at Marie place one week and it was a great time. Apartment is very nice,we felt like at home. Near the subway,quite zone. Marie is very friendly owner and she gave us a lot of useful information.Next time we'll stay again in this place!

      <p><span>The Space</span><br /><span>Located in St. Michael's Walk, a unique, secluded tree-lined gated community in the heart of Union City, next to Hoboken. The residences were recently built on the grounds of the St. Michael's Church, originally a thriving, beautiful monastery. This tranquil cul-de-sac setting feels like private spacious homes with the convenience of condominium living including landscaped grounds, and a private park where children can play, or for relaxing. It is amazing how close we are to NYC yet this is truly a park-like setting.</span></p>
      <p><span>Parking for one car and street parking available.</span></p>
      <p><span>Directly outside of Manhattan, very fast drive to midtown Manhattan, 2 blocks to the bus to midtown Manhattan, PATH subway available in nearby Hoboken. Buses &amp; PATH run 24/7. Very close to all major highways in the area. Perfect transportation access to commuting or travel needs or city fun.</span></p>
      <p><span>A wide range of international shopping, restaurants, grocers &amp; a large supermarket are within walking distance. You'll find excellent prices compared to NYC and Hoboken. In nearby Hoboken, a 10 minute drive puts you directly on the Hudson River. There you will find natural foods grocers, gourmet dining, boutiques, vibrant nightlife and gorgeous views of NYC. Also PATH subway &amp; ferry service to NYC.</span></p>
      <p><span>Union City is located directly outside of NYC with many people commuting to Manhattan due to the ease and proximity of the commute. It is easily accessible by public transportation with several options for getting into NYC and other parts of NJ. NJ Transit and independent commuter vans known as jitneys traverse the city 24 hours a day seven days a week.</span></p>
      <p><span>Many people use the jitneys because they are always available running every few minutes without a schedule. You just hop on. The price of these express buses is $3 on board, and $2.50 if you buy tickets at ticket window #23 at Port Authority Bus Terminal. There are several bus routes into Port Authority bus terminal located in midtown on 42nd Street. it is one bus ride directly into NYC.</span></p>
      <p><span>For buses other than the jitneys go to the NJ Transit website, under bus schedules type in Origin: Union City in Hudson County, Desination: New York City. You will see the schedule and price.</span></p>
      <p><span>From where I live you can take also take buses to Journal Square or Hoboken and catch the PATH subway depending upon where you need to go in Manhattan.</span></p>
      <p><span>Transportation to Manhattan is available via the Lincoln Tunnel, &amp; the Holland Tunnel. You can also go by car to the ferry or walk to the Light rail if you are not in a hurry for a different experience of getting into NYC.</span></p>
      <p><span>You can do a search of your own by typing in Union City to NYC, Hoboken, Jersey City, Secaucus, and Weekhawken.</span></p>
      <p><span>HIGHWAYS</span><br /><span>The New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway are only minutes away. Union City can be reached directly via Turnpike Exit16E northbound, or Exit 17 south bound by simple following the directions out of the toll booth to Kennedy Boulevard. Once you have reached Kennedy Boulevard you are in Union City.</span></p>

      <p><span>LIVING ROOM very spacious with a sunny bay window, a large Ultrasuede couch and chaise longue decked with comfy pillows. A TV, DVD player, CD player and stereo receiver are at your disposal. The couch can be used as an extra bed. There is also a blow-up twin mattress and a small folding mattress for your use.</span></p>
      <p><span>DINING ROOM part of open living/dining room space. Beautiful stainless steel dining room table and leather chairs fits 8. Another vintage wooden table and chairs by the bay window seats 4.</span></p>

The neighborhood offers a diverse cultural assortment of grocery stores and supermarkets at terrific prices. Great bakeries, and coffee shops too.
