The apartment is in a terrific location- a great area surrounded by nice restaurants and bars, and a 30 second walk to the subway makes it easy to explore the rest of New York. The room is cozy (not the same as pictured) but there is a fair bit of storage space in the room to store your belongings. Angela, the woman you'll be sharing the apartment with, is a gorgeous lady who is relaxed and very helpful if you have any questions.
Positive review here. Very easy to get from JFK airport. The Airtrain will bring you to Jamaica underground station. Take the E-LineTrain to the World Trade Center and soon you get there, no change of trains etc. The location is great. No problems with Wi-Fi, you can use kitchen. If you are a tourist and you need a budget accomodation in SoHo I would recommend this apartment. The lowlight is due to the fact the building is old, you'll probably be hearing the noise from the water pipe when the neighbor downstairs takes shower in the morning (if your sleep is very sensitive like mine) BUT: believe me, if you travel from Europe, due to time difference you will wake up at 6am anyway, so this is not a problem :) I would stay next time.
Even if the room is not the one you see on the picture (the actual one is much smaller), the apartement is really convenient, really well located, etc. Be ready to walk 4 levels of stairs to reach the apartement, but once you are there, you will feel at home even more with the nicest roomate, Angela who is living there!
everything was good. Place, house, room. Easy conversation with Carlson22.
Great place!! Very spacious. Centrally located in Soho near Springstreet subway. And i had the best roommate.
