Mixed feedback. The short summary is that it is a good low cost alternative, especially for larger groups but I would not call it elegant. Basically they took an older apartment and put in quick fixes: new paint, new furniture, new cabinets, etc... but didn't really address some of the fundamental problems with the apartment (no shoe moldings, cracks in the floor and between flooring surfaces, cracked tiles, poor caulking, floor that needs to be re-finished, no task lighting in kitchen, etc...) It worked out ok for us, especially because we were out sight seeing most of the days. But it is smaller than photos led me to believe, should have been cleaner, and we did find a mouse in the apartment part way through our visit (which to managements credit they did address the day we reported it). Given that we saved $1k - $2K (week stay) over other apartments or even 2 hotel rooms, it was worth it for us. Pros: 3 beds (2 bedrooms); Elevator (nice after a long day of sight seeing); Laundry; Great neighborhood; Fairly close to subway (2 avenues away); Very quiet (no street noise); Newer furniture; Very friendly management staff; New(er) tub, toilet, fixtures in bathroom; New refrigerator, stove; Newer sink; Newer cabinets (although mismatched). Cons: Building is older than expected; hard wood floors squeak more than any I have ever seen; Tile and towel holders in bathroom in poor condition; More bathroom towel holders needed; Lots of caulking in bathroom around tub and vanity (looks like new tub was 1" shorter than old tub and space filled in with caulking); Bathroom overall is very small (tight fit); Very small kitchen with little counter space and no task lighting - would have been challenging to cook a real meal; Queen size bed had extremely hard mattress which I found very difficult to sleep on (bought 1" foam pad on sale at Macy's which helped a little but not enough); Chairs at kitchen table were wobbly (loose / missing screws); Common building areas could be spruced up quite a bit (old); Not great lighting - two bedrooms at ends of apartment had windows but no window in central portion of apartment; Bedroom air conditioners worked well but didn't do great job on keeping middle cool (but to be fair it was really hot while we were there); Missing some small things - no extra trash bags, no "welcome" info on area, directions, etc...

We had a wonderful time. Nice people to deal with. The appartment was very very clean, very well located and extremely quiet. Easy to find a parking around ($). Farmers' market and grocery nearby. Near a subway station. Highly recommended.
