We stayed at their apt located at 350 West 47 St Apt 1A. My first impression during our apt hunt was great as "Reuven" was very responsive in helping me find an apartment that supposedly met our needs. However, upon time for our trip, that responsiveness seemed to become indifference. This company said on their listing that they would optionally have someone meet you at the apartment with the keys and to collect the deposit (this statement has since been removed from the listing). This is not true; they force you to go to their office. Upon arrival at their office, the staff was less than welcoming; in fact the receptionist was sarcastic and indifferent. "Reuven" never bothered to introduce himself although he was in the office when we arrived. During our stay, they changed the wifi password TWICE without bothering to inform us. I had to beg the receptionist to call someone after having him argue with me for 10 minutes during which he continually told me there was no change made by them (which was untrue). This company charges a cleaning fee. Yet, when we arrived, the apartment was not clean. There was hair in the tubs and the floors had not been truly cleaned in some time; only poor attempts at sweeping. The wooden floors were in bad need of repair; so bad that they had placed duct tape in multiple locations to keep the floor from coming up. In one bed room, they didn't bother to do that; the floor was simply coming up and could not be walked on in that area. The bathroom tub faucet was difficult of work. The bathroom floor tile was hideous. When we rented this apt, it had pictures of the "private patio" which have since been removed from the site. When we arrived, this "patio" had broken beer bottles everywhere and was filthy. There was no table on the patio (as shown in the now removed picture) and there was junk everywhere. We could not use the patio. One of the neighbors constantly complained about everything (talking or smoking) on the outdoor patio. This woman was simply a bitter individual who seemed to be mad at the world. That same neighbor obviously works night shift from her home. I don't know what she does, but it sounds like she is moving furniture every night all night. The noise on the ceiling was unbearable and kept many of us up at night. For the price we paid for this apt, I am very disappointed. On a good note, the location was great and there were lots of shops, restaurants and markets right around the corner. Of course, that is true just about everywhere in NYC. We wanted to experience NYC as the locals do by staying in an apt and in a local neighborhood. I do not believe the typical NY'er lives in apartments like the dump we stayed in. I was embarrassed to have my family stay in that apartment. We could have stayed in a nice hotel for the same price or less. I will not utilize this company again in the future.

      Atlantic Avenue Downtown Brooklyn
You might expect to hear a birdsong and babbling brooks in this woodsy Brooklyn home. It's cheery and organic, blooming with bright colours and teeming with adorable animal figurines, like the roadrunner in the window, the bunny in the kitchen, and the penguin lurking on the converted coffee-table bookshelves. When you settle into this gentler rhythm of life, you might even forget you're in the heart of Brooklyn. Grab your trail guide and hiking boots, set up a blind inside a cafe, and take field notes on the native flora and fauna you'll find here.
