New Orleans Garden District Vacation Condo Rental
Steps from our door is the historic St. Charles streetcar line that can escort you to the University area located uptown, or downtown to the French Quarter. This condo is one of 2 that we own and rent in the same building. There may be other uni …
My boyfriend and I stayed here and really loved it. The condo is very charming and Larissa has put a lot of attention to detail. There are little touches of New Orleans everywhere: from bright jazz paintings in the living room to the cold beer mugs and shot glasses waiting for guests in the freezer! Larissa was very helpful and met us to give us the keys and walk us in to the apartment. The condo is right on St Charles so if you are planning on using the street car to get around, the location is perfect. Another great benefit is a reserved parking space. Parking in New Orleans can be a bit of an ordeal, so having a parking spot waiting for us when we get home was essential. The condo is exactly as pictured here in this listing. Will definitely stay here again!
The convenience is amazing. Only one block away from St. Charles Avenue and the Street Car line. In the middle of The Garden District. The owners make you feel right at home with details about New Orleans and the local area. They also make the condo very comfortable for two adults. We visit New Orleans frequently and had never enjoyed our accommodations more.
The location of the condo could not be better, perfect for a wander through the Garden District, and one block to the St Charles Ave streetcar that runs directly into the French Quarter. It's an enjoyable walk to the amenities of Magazine Street, and there's an upscale food store right at the corner. The condo itself was just as described - attractive, very comfortable, and well-appointed - and came equipped with everything I needed. I didn't have a car and didn't feel I needed one, but off-street parking is available with the unit. My hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on a return trip.
Brandon and Larissa have created a darling, cozy, clean and well-stocked getaway nest, right off the St. Charles streetcar line and in the middle of all things cool and wonderful. My husband and I stayed four nights in the middle of October and would absolutely stay there again. It's a former apartment in a small, friendly building. Many great restaurants and shops were all within walking distance including the best food market in the Garden District, which is literally in sight of the front door. Highly recommend!
We only stayed for one night, but Brandon and his wife were so accommodating. They made sure all our questions/concerns were answered and helped make recommendations on things to do and places to see and eat. The place is super cute! Very cozy and location is convenient. We highly recommend staying here.
This was our third stay at Brad & Larissa's condo. Looks exactly like the pictures and is very compact, perfect for two adults. We keep returning to this condo primarily because of the location, amenities, off street parking and comfort level. The neighbourhood is very safe even if you are out late into the night.
It is central to everything and one block to the St. Charles streetcar should you want to go into the French Quarter without your car (less than 20 minute streetcar ride).
The condo is within easy walking distance of the shops on Magazine street, cafes and a grocery store is only one block away. The condo is equipped with everything you would need & has all the amenities necessary to make your stay perfect.
Brad & Larissa are perfect hosts - their welcome is genuine and they are always there if needed. We keep going back & will again so that speaks volumes.
Thank you Brad & Larissa for another enjoyable stay in New Orleans.
This was our 7th time to N.O. since Katrina and first time we have stayed in the Garden District. You couldn't have asked for a better location for either walking to and through the beautiful area of historical homes nearby or to Magazine St. with it's nuances. It's a whole one block to the St. Charles Street Car to take you to Canal St and the FQ or maybe to Lee's Circle where you can walk to the WWII Museum or maybe some other wonderful New Orleans places to eat or drink or just walk, gawk and talk as we do a lot down there. I would highly recommend this very nice condo. We had another couple with us so we rented both 1 bedroom condos and it worked out perfectly. Larissa met us upon arrival and we couldn't have asked for more. Good Choice and we felt very safe at all times.
My husband and I just returned from a quick weekend getaway. We have stayed in many vrbo retails but found this place simply ok. It was much louder than I expected. St.Charles stayed busy all night long! The bed is very firm and seemed old because every time one of us would move it made lots of noise. The couch also needed replaceing. The pictures are pretty accurate. The locations is nice and to have your own parking place is very nice. The a/c also leaked during out stay but they say that will be fixed soon(still kept the place cool). Just over all an ok stay for us.
I stayed in this condo for three days while visiting my daughter and son-in-law. Its a lovely space with great amenities -- so much better than any hotel! It was so nice to wake up in a quiet space each morning, make drink coffee in the lovely courtyard. Free laundry, reserved parking, wi-fi, and many other small touches like a list of nearby restaurants recommended by the condo owners made the stay very special.

Condo was clean and orderly. Owner is very pleasant and organized. Everything you need for a long weekend is there. Although I didn't use the St. Charles trolley, it is only 150 feet away and runs to the downtown district, I think $1.50 each way. Queen bed, no pullout couch, but 3rd adult could sleep on couch if needed. Modern flat screen TV and stereo, and plenty of cooking books as the owner is a head chef at a prominent downtown restaurant. Washer/dryer is available. Parking for 1 car, secured locked gate to entry of garden, condo up 1 flight of outside stairs. Neighborhood quiet and clean. $14 to Convention Center, $11-$12 to Canal Street.
