      My husband and I are from central Louisiana .We have been to NOLA many times, before and after Katrina. Take it from me, this is a perfect location. Both mattresses are temperpedic so they are very comfortable. The Columns, a wonderful historic B&B, where you can get a drink or dinner with music located about ten blocks on ST. Charles. There is a local coffee shop on Prytania, Still Perkin, about three blocks and then the street car will take you anywhere uptown or downtown! Joe the manager is great, Pays much attention to detail. My only complaint was that the TV did not work at all for the week we were there! Not that in NOLA you want to watch TV, but I do like the news in the morning!
      Thanks Joe for welcoming us on arrival. We had a great weekend. The apartment is conveniently located to the trolley. A day pass carried us from the zoo to the quarter so driving and parking were not needed. We loved the apartment and hope to see you again.
      Really enjoyed our stay at the cozy apartment. Husband and I visited with another couple. The bedrooms were private enough that each couple had some private space. We had everything we needed and Joe was very helpful. We had no trouble finding parking for two small econo cars, I had been very worried about that aspect of the visit, but it was never an issue. The listing is very accurate and this was such a great deal for a very handy location. We went to Superior Seafoods nearby and it was delicious. We used the Whole Foods a little farther away to stock up on drinks and snacks. Would love to stay there again and I have told all my friends how cute the place was.
      The apartment is cozy, clean and comfortable. Charming wooden floors throughout the apartment and ceiling fans in each room, along with the central air conditioning. The beds in both of the rooms are very comfortable. The apartment is on a quiet street and there was never any noise to disturb our sleep. The living room couch was also a favorite location of ours to watch TV. The kitchenette is fully functional. We easily prepared simple meals in it. There is probably only enough room for one person to do the cooking, which helps avoid the problem of too many chefs spoiling the meal. Joe is very welcoming and was available to answer any questions that we had about the apartment. He made us feel right at home. I would happily stay in this apartment again on a return trip to New Orleans .
      This was the perfect location for all the places me and my husband wanted to visit. 1block over from st Charles to catch a street car which was 3$ for a daily pass. Love the ideal of being able to keep rental car parked. Which was parking available rite in front of home. The home is just like the picture. Very nice... We only used one of the bedrooms which we slept just fine. We was happy that there was a working stereo as we don't watch tv. We cooked breakfast & dinner here at least once out of the five days . Joe was helpful when needed. The house was exactly what I expected... :) my only concern was the bathtub. The drain was clogged w previous renters hair making a shower turn n to a bath, my husband used a pen and got the old hair out & it was fine from there. I also suggest leaving some type of bath cleaner available as i like to clean tub in between uses. Other then that small mishap I would for sure rent this home again. We slept in late and stayed out later. Bourbon street was just a street car away..Made my anniversary perfect thanks Joe.
      This condo was the perfect place to stay for my sister and I. We were in New Orleans for a convention, and rather than stay at a pricey hotel, we opted for the two bedroom condo. The price was perfect and it was nice to have our own bedrooms, as well as a kitchen. The location is favorable, as it's only a block from the streetcar stop. We were able to save taxi fare by riding the streetcar. And getting away from the French quarter at night made for a more peaceful night's rest. Joe was a great host and checked on us the first night to make sure we had everything we needed. He offered a lot of great suggestions about places to eat and activities. We would definitely recommend this condo!
      My brother and I loved this place. It fit our needs perfectly and for a great price. The trolley stop was close and easy access to the city and tourist sights. There is a drug store a few blocks down, a supermarket, and several places to eat along St. Charles. We were able to park our car near the apartment with no hassles, and use the trolley to get around. The kitchen was lovely, the bedrooms a great size , and comfortable living room area to relax after a long day. The apartment was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay here again!
      My boyfriend and I came to New Orleans for a family wedding at the French quarter. This was my first visit to Nola. We were at this property for 3 nights and 4 days. The apartment was very clean and decorated cute. Beds were comfy & linens were good. Joe was extremely helpful to us, even recommended places that we may enjoy eating and hanging out at. There was little/no noise and little traffic on the street the apartment is located on, always had parking available. Very private court yard area for us to smoke in. We absolutely LOVED this apartment and plan to visit again asap! Great price for the quality. We will be recommending this place to friends and family. We just had a fantastic visit and Joe really helped make that happen. Thanks Joe! =)
      We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very comfortable for all (2 adults, 3 teens). The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Joe was very kind and his suggestions were spot on! Go straight to the Fresh Market, a nice walk from the apt to stock the lives up to its name! The teens loved going to the race track, (though we missed the festival there, it was fine) they relished the new experience! Lots of new experiences and memories made in NOLA!!!
      We wanted to have a little privacy so my husband and I opted for a small apartment with two bedrooms while traveling with two young children. I loved the location of this apartment, which allowed us to explore the Garden District, while still not far from the French Quarter. We enjoyed our stay very much and I believe this is a great value as the apartment is cheaper than a hotel. I left my dress and Joe is mailing it back to me at no extra charge. Thank you so much Joe!
      Great little base for exploring all the New Orleans has to offer. The space is bijou but very well laid out. Small kitchen but with everything you need. Location is perfect, easy to get up into town, and in a wonderful part of the garden district within easy walk of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Good communication from owner/manager. Only one small hitch was the TV which didn't work properly for the 4 nights we were there. Not a huge problem for many but with a 6 year old waking up having gone through 6 hour time differences we knew we wanted/needed a TV. Late night jazz hangouts are sadly not on the cards when you travel with kids. We expected trouble with the TV as soon as we read the arrival info and we were proved right. Thats the only reason for not giving a full 5 stars. Other than that thank you for a wonderful few days in a fab apartment in a great city.
      The apartment was great! A really wonderful location. Everything was just like the photos. I should have paid more attention to the photo of the front door, as I passed it by even though Joe gave great directions to the apartment. My 83 year old dad and I planned to spend most of our time at the WWII museum just a 3 or 4 minuet drive from the apartment. It proved to be the right choice. We could pop back to the apartment for a little break from the museum and then refreshed head back for round 2 at the museum. There is a wonderful grocery story Joe told us about just a couple of blocks away, so we didn't lack for snacks at the apartment. I was concerned about the availability of the street parking, but it was never a problem. We were always able to park close to the door. Also the AC worked well, a real plus in New Orleans. This is a great place for family, maybe a little tight for 2 couples because of the one bathroom, but was perfact for my dad and I. Also I got my deposit refund back very promptly. Cheers!
      WHAT A GREAT TRIP!!!! We are foodies so my references will be associated with food. My wife and I took our daughter and her boyfriend to New Orleans for her 21st birthday. We had such a great time staying at this apartment. We were one block off of St. Charles Street. We didn't rent a car and really enjoyed figuring out the streetcar and bus schedule. Yes there is an APP for both BTW. Joe was more than accommodating and a pleasure to talk to as well. We were about 5-6 blocks from Magazine St and found this great little place that made amazing breakfast and Po-Boy sandwiches. We were very close to Commanders Palace and went there for our daughter birthday celebration, it was a great time but I do recommend make reservations, we didn't, the Bread pudding soufflé was amazing. The Streetcar was down right out of the apartment for repairs but there is a bus that has picked up the schedule for now. But you can catch the streetcar down on Louisiana that will take you down around Carrollton where you will find Camilla Grill always worth the wait and the service is what they are known for, Diner type food but good. The Bus on St. Charles will take you over to Canal St where you can hop on a streetcar down to the Riverwalk or get off and cross the street to Bourbon Street. Had fun at Pat O’Brian’s patio food was good here as well. The best Gumbo I had on the trip was at 424 Seafood on Bourbon St. The best Crawfish Etouffe was at Pat O’ Brian’s and the best Beignets are only at Café Du Monde, especially late a night…So Good. This was a great place to stay. Thank Joe!!!
      The apartment might have been fine, but our experience was poor. First the facts: The kitchen is VERY small but updated. The LR is small and contains an eating table with two chairs. The bathroom is fairly small and not especially updated, and the bedrooms are relatively spacious. Both bedrooms are up 3 or 4 stairs (and not on the same level as the bathroom), and the apartment must be accessed via a short staircase, so consider your mobility needs before renting. The backdoor opens onto a small patio area, but the door was so swollen that we couldn't get it open to go outside. (This is typical of wooden doors in old houses with high humidity.) The house smelled a big stale, but I assume the A/C would have taken care of that. The good: The St. Charles Trolley is just one block away; however, it was not running during our visit. The tracks were being repaired. The WiFi worked well. There is free on-street parking. The bad: The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived, we were not able to contact either the owner or manager via phone or email, it was 7:00 at night, and we had driven 10 hours. Within 20 minutes, we were on our way to Marriott, and just a couple minutes later, the owner did call me in response to my email. Tom (?) was extremely apologetic and very generous in his offer to make it up to us - larger apartment, free stay, etc., which was, as I said, generous. The really bad: However, I refused his kind offers because I felt that the apartment was in such a marginal area that I was not comfortable there. I did not want to leave my nearly new car parked on the street. My daughters were with me, and I didn't feel OK sending them out by themselves to fetch something from the car. A couple nearby apartments were gentrified, but a large unit across the street was deserted and boarded. In fact, after we got our accommodations straightened out, I felt it was a blessing that the apartment was dirty. It's simply not an area I felt safe in.
