A great La Rosiere experience and a wonderful chalet in which to spend the week. The chalet apartment is part of a grand 6 property complex in the heart of the village centre. The Grand Paradis complex boasts a central location above some shops with extensive views over the Tarantaise valley beneath.
Facilities include a large reception area, sauna and a large ski and boot room with racks and dryers. Inside you will find a tastefully decorated chalet apartment with a comfortable seating area, and dining space. All bedrooms feed off from this area and overlook different parts of the village.
This is a wonderful combination of old savoie design and modern furniture with all the facilities you will need to keep your holiday with us stress free.
The Grand Paradis chalets are in a privileged position with the first chair lift, the Roches Noires, only 5 minutes walk or 1 minute by bus which you can catch right outside the chalet.
If you are looking for a central, no hassle ski holiday in La Rosiere with all the comforts and services of Green Rides, then this is the one for you.
Chalet Bruyere can also be reserved with Chalet Aster next door to accommodate a group of 21.

Chalet Mamiray is an awesome chalet, just a short walk to the nearest ski lift and a 10 minute walk to the resorts pubs & bars (or there is a free resort shuttle bus if youre feeling lazy!). Spread over three floors, Mamiray has 6 double / twin rooms and 2 triple rooms and has spectacular views from the balcony down the Tarentaise valley. We have a DVD library, Nintendo Wii, a ski locker room and the usual chilled, informal Bura atmosphere.
Situated in the rural community of Montagny Chef Lieu, 20 minutes from Courchevel, 20 minutes from La Plagne, Chalet Tranquille is the perfect home away from home in the winter or summer.
With so many things to do in the area, a base in Montagny is the ideal place to plan and start walks, hikes, bike rides, paragliding adventures, climbing expeditions, skiing, snowshoeing and all sorts of alpine activities....or just stay at home in the garden, relax and barbecue.
The village of Bozel is 8 minutes away by car, or 15 minutes by bike (down hill!), where there is a lake for swimming, fishing and sunbathing, pedalos and bouncy castles for the children and plenty of restaurants.
Montagny itself has plenty of walking for all levels, trails for mountain biking and an excellent start place for keen road bikers.
But the best thing is the tranquility. The pace of life is slow. Take your bike down to the boulangerie for breakfast croissants. Take long lunches in the garden over looking the Dent de Moutiers peak and the surrounding hills, sip pastis on the balcony.
The winter skiing opportunities of Courchevel are well known: Miles of perfectly groomed pistes, linking up to the three valleys of Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens, celebrated gourmet mountain restaurants, some of them Michelin star, and fantastic opportunities for off piste, accessible by lifts or under your own steam, with skins, touring bindings and a bit of effort. Don't forget harnesses, transceivers, probes and ice axes, and if you are going that far, better take a mountain guide!
Après ski in Courchevel 1850 is bright, happening and expensive. Huge fun, and even better fun to get home afterwards to your wood burning stove and curl up on a cosy sofa and a bit of peace.
